All the best sounds like a fun idea...

I personally would advise that you have one Clan... it will keep the competative nature of the idea strong.

Elders:
I understand where you are coming from on the Elder situation i would make it clear that whoever Leads it has the say over the Elders..... So pick your Leader First.. Having it based on Post Count is a nice idea but not very praticial....

Trophy Requirements:
I would also increase the Minimum Trophy Count daily and use this as CUT system.... unless the players are the Designated Donators....Which you will require..

RE: Donators: This should be the Second Clan....
As someone said 45 players for the Main Clan....5 Donating Spots... I would suggets also that these Donators do not remain in the Main Clan, they exit and Return to Clan 2 as soon as they have offloaded... This will give others a Green Light to get in and donate..

While this would be good for the trophy hunting aspect this is mainly a social gathering, no? I think that that would make it less fun for some of the weaker people.

Let me remind you, that the point of DownToForum, is to gather all of our friends and party. We will all try to get high trophies, but this is really just a hang out time.

And also, how long would we keep this going?

Based on that then your probably correct. Reading the thread is just seemed a lot of details being discussed if its just for social reasons surely all of that is not required...

That's kinda what it's all about... it seems that most of us are farmers so we will all learn as we go and share information. We will hopefully also have the helpful guidance of a few cup hunters who are also part of the forum.

I think the idea is to have fun and work as a forum team, so if people can't keep up as the clan gets into the higher ranges they can always drop back to the second clan

Sorry but I can do that with iQ. We can share experiences and learn from each other. This is a great opportunity but I don't see the point leaving my clan to experience stuff with others. Maybe after I experience it with my friends then I'll consider helping others. No offense meant as I am honored to have been invited.
