I'm new player and just maxed out th7 offense (now upgrading defense) . All my friends are th 9/10/11. I'm thinking to rush hoti th11 leaving all things as they are .. just only upgrading th ... Will it be good??

You could just upgrade offense only to th11 while leaving defense to th7. Not recommended for your main account, but you could try it. You cannot afford to lag behind offense at any town hall because it only makes problems worse. Always focus on offense. Makes life easier.

If you are a great attacker and can attack with a super high frequency, it might work out. If you war constantly and can up your offense to th9 - th10 levels it may benefit your clan. But expect to be absolutely 100% cleaned out every single time your shield drops. I personally would never do this. Skipping TH9 in my opinion would be a mistake - it's a lot of fun.
Additionally, keep in mind you will mainly see th11 and th10 in matchmaking. You will need to raid them to progress. That isn't going to be easy.

If you don't have offence commensurate with your TH level I don't see you successfully raiding at all.
I'm not sure if im a good attacker but I am sure that I won't let my lab and builders free due to lack of resources .
I just reached masters yesterday with my th7 troops ... I think if I stay at silver 1 or gold 3 ... I will find the same rushed th10 and 11 .. which I could definitely raid easily
If I stay at lower leauges (1000-1500 trophies) I think I will find same rushed bases whom I can definitely raid with my lower troops .. anyway thanks bro .. this is my first thread in forum and loved to get support from seniors like you
Th11 attacking is completely different from th7.
If you can't crack a th11 with your current troops right now how do you plan to get resources to upgrade once you get to th11
Staying at silver .. I think I will get my opponents same as me (rushed) and dead bases (resources in collectors) .. I won't go up without good offense as well as satisfactory defense.
