New th11, elixer farming

Hi Guys/Gals!

I've recently made the jump to th11 and would like some expert advice.
Im some what struggling to make elixer, what troop would a new th11 use to make quick elixer to get warden up?
My troop levels are shown below.
I have been doing goblin knife for the past few months to get my kiln to 40, now that he's asleep, I'm moving my concentration on elixer to get the warden up, but struggling as the bases with good elixer have higher defense resulting in having to use heavy elixer troops along with de troops.

Ive read around that a lot of people barched in lower leagues but i have not found a single dead base in the past 2 days and i been in all the crystal leagues. Go lower? or go higher and fight for the higher loot bonuses?

I went to TH11 just before xmas.

I dropped down to crystal/masters. I use 10 giants, 10 wb and 170 gobs. No need for spells or heros. All builders busy and GW is down asleep going to lvl 10. Last 2 gold storages being upgraded as well (2.5 mil lix each). I raid probably about 4-8 times a day depending on how active I am being. I next for a few minutes at a time. Sometimes less. Rarely use all troops.

I have no problems at all getting lix. So suggest you try again in crystal/masters for the early intense lix phases of 11.

I should add that farming in higher leagues is also worth the effort. High league bonuses and good attacks can yield just as good (if not better) results than lower league farming. The only advantage to lower league farming is its a 100% success rate whereas higher league farming you have a change to fail an attack which hurts your loot when farming.

What worked well for me is I used de troops to climb to champs smashing elixor heavy bases. Then switch back to goblins just to raid pumps outside of base you don't need to have full army cooked each raid if you keep goblins cooking in que you can raid almost nonstop stealing elixor and dropping trophies when I hit gold league repeat. If you have the de and want elixor even faster use valks to hit pumps as you drop you can make millions in no time gl

I use roughly the same combination 10 giants 8 wb and 174 gobs. But i been using spells aswell so was spending around 200k gaining roughly the same back.

Were u mainly aiming for collectors or storages? Would you say you favoured masters more than crystal? I still haven't checked masters.

Really is no need for using spells. That is where you are losing your lix. Also no need to use all army either. Most of the time I can get away with just using a handful of goblins.

I go for both but predominately collectors. If I can access the storages with a few WB's a giant or two as shields then I will go for them. But yes collectors are easy and cheap loot.

I do not favour one over the other tbh. If I am in masters (through trophy droppers) and I don't find a base within a few minutes then I tend to drop down into crystal. I do however probably spend more time in crystal than masters. In crystal II at minute.

Farm the s**t out of bases.
Im TH11 ( rushed) lvl 6 barch but still getting around 500k per hour raiding.

I took the high league, big army route. Averaging 250-300k elixir profit per raid in Titan 3 using laloonion. 3 hounds keeps the elixir costs down. I have had my Gw asleep since I hit th11 though I am waiting to get him maxed before doing my royals. Had enough elix to also do all gold stores (for cc) and put a load in walls too. Still had plenty DE to do hounds and next is minions .

previously I was a dead base farmer...

Lvl40 aq + 4 healers, 13 valks, 8 giants, rest filler
Spells: 3 rage, 1 heal, 1 jump

Main target: dead bases >300k (collectors outside) or >400k (collectors inside), premmies/9.5 >400k elixir

This is almost all I did for the past 40+ days as a new th11. Had gw and bk both upgrading and easily completing gold upgrades

i cant agree on this.theres no dead base on ofr for new th-11.
in 3 days i found only 5-6 dead base only..
cant use that 10 giant-8 wb-170 gob either.. theres no base on ofr to attack with that army..

am using lavaloon and attacking bases with atleast 250k elix so that i can net a profit of atleast 150k per atk..
in some atk i fail too..so elixer loss again..
am doing 2 atk per hour and do 24-28 attacks in a day.. bt after doing all these raid am profiting only 1.5-2 million only...
its very tough to farm as a new th-11

What time are you farming? Either 14-18 hrs ago or in another 6-8 hours is good farming time

If you're farming now, definitely loot is bad, try again in 7 hrs at least. Farming not about attacking skill, its about attacking at the right time of the day and maximising loot at that time.
