I'm surprised by a couple people posting about including wall breakers and giants. I guess you misunderstood from the explanation above about how to go about selecting bases to attack or how to deploy troops.

Wall breakers and giants are DEFINITELY not needed because all the bases you will be selecting will have the DE collectors fully exposed on the outside of the base with no walls around them. Again, if the base has the collectors protected by a layer of walls, just skip to the next base. You'll be amazed how many people leave them unprotected; this is especially true at the lower town hall levels where there are not so many walls to worry about and base design is much more limited.

The strategy is to NOT use all your goblins at once. Instead, use the smallest amount possible so you can immediately hit search again after the attack. If you have to waste all your goblins just to get a measly 2000 DE at once, it's waste of time. You could be getting triple the amount in the time it takes to replenish your army camp. If you do see a dead base, however, you may be inclined to use them all but that is entirely up to you.

Also, there is no need to worry about losing cups because your objective isn't pushing; it's farming. I have over 8 mil on my Heroic heist and a lot of it was taken with this method. I used mass gobs during every town hall level and always met with the same degree of success. It's probably the only farming method that has stayed consistent over the years of updates and nerfs.

here is the problem: you start at masters.. before you know it you are on silver and the outside drills are no good 99% of the time. This is where it gets troublesome. You cannot obtain the good ratio anymore (dark stolen per goblin used)

This is why it is necessary to kill the TH at least 3 out of 4 attacks. You need to stay in Crystal league to enjoy the loaded drills. To kill the TH, you need giants wb, jump rage heals

Though I think most TH11 are farming with air in high leagues. That bonus is too good to pass up and it takes a whole lot less work searching bases and attacking a hundred times a day.

I usually net just shy of 5000DE per attack. With heroes thats once every hour. Not the best return, but it only takes 5 min of my time. I've been able to keep AQ down solid with little effort.

Hard to keep aq upgrading continuously when you need her to farm your DE. Not an efficient strategy, imo, even though it may be effective.

New 11 here, I've been experimenting with full gobs farming and barching recently. I followed the guide by nerf713 in this thread

Found out that you can literally fill up your gold and elixir pretty quickly. All gold storages upgrades in 1 day and warden to level 2, thats about 12.5 mil elixir.

But i've found out that it is pretty slow on d.e. Trophy range during farming is 900 to 1200 cups. It seems a lot of base protect their drills with occasional defenceless base and fat de drills. Barely made 30k in 1 week. Maybe im too focused on elixir farming or maybe something that i've done wrong.

So my bowler upgrade is almost done, worried about d.e, i shifted to barching in low crystal, it seems to be a little bit more profitable in d.e but slower in elixir but still makes profit. Since i dont mind farming elixir a bit slower, since warden upgrades are longer, it doesnt bother me.

Just my 2 cents.

Just use goblin knife. All gobs don't work not enough health
