We are at a 17 eagle to 23 eagles this war and we are going to kill them because they still can't 3 our 10s and we have the 10s locked up and will 3 6 or 7 of there 11s. So it boils down to attacking. We are always the underdog with eagles but we always clean the 10s and get a few of there 11s. It would be nice to not have to climb up hill all the time but if that's what we have to do then we do it.

More importantly, the complaints will likely decrease by a significant amount. I don't think people like seeing enemy clans having a significant edge at the top of the war map

i guess the majority of the people don't agree with them but at the end they are the winners?
Starting to feel like the new SC way. Let a strategy go unchecked, wait for everyone to spend gems fine tuning that strat with building their exploitation accounts. Then big nerf and push the players to a new strat to dump money into.
My clan has three 10.5's. When we match them with 10's in war, many times the opposing clan starts ranting about engineering in their clan description.
Then I go to look at their bases. Almost without exception, they have 2-3 defenseless bases at the bottom. Of which we have none.
If that's not trying to "engineer" an advantage, I don't know what is. Guess "engineering" is in the eye of the beholder.
Here's my take: Maxers have engineered defenses typically far above ours. Our .5's have engineered offense typically far above theirs. It's all about what you value in war and what you think will garner you an advantage.
I don't know who anyone thinks they are to tell any other player or clan how to play, so long as everyone has the opportunity to play the same way within the game rules.
You think .5's help you in war more than they hurt? Go get some. You think infernos help you in war more than they hurt? Put em down. You think max heroes give you an advantage? Build em. You think max loons give you an advantage? Upgrade em. You like point defenses over splash damage? Upgrade archer towers way past cannons.
Every player / clan in the game has the same opportunity to do any (or none) of the above.

that generalization is true. All I see is maxers hating on engineers. The same maxers who dont ask for a mm fix when they have the advantage. I don't blame them though... It's human nature to be selfish.
The funniest thing about some of these posts, is you can't even tell what side the person is on! Lol. How about this, we all love the game! Clash on brothers!

Hating on engineers has nothing to do with wanting the advantage. It is more about having wars that are competitive instead of the blow out easy wins the engineers "earn" by gaming a flaw in the war match making.
