Actually, the hog rider event was for everybody, even those who can't train hog riders. Th6 players and below could do it as well, the minimum hog riders for the event would change minimum based on your town hall level, or if you don't have hogs... *cough cough* clan castle level! Players who did not have hog riders could complete the hog rider event as long as their clan castles were filled with hog riders and they used those hogs during an attack they won. Now the giants do look weird since the update. I heavily dislike how they made the goblin and minion pictures look, but the rest was very good. Especially the part where loons now drop bombs sooner once reaching their target, cause before that any loon that wasn't level 6 or level 7 was completely terrible. They still are, just not as much.

i liked the nee artwork and the chirstmas tree looks great.and i like that the crown of lvl45 Barbarian king is golden.the clash a rama is very good and each and every day new events are comming.i am loving it

The Update was an awesome one , with the events and all new stuff

However I have some criticism :
1. Hog Rider Event was not for everybody. And some people had to manage 9 hogs into the strategy.
2. Snow won't stop.
3. New graphics : Giants waling look odd , Archer training icon looks like Scarlet Johansson and Dragon Training icon looks like Godzilla
4. Christmas tree is average.

1. I thought the hog rider event was a fun little thing that wasn't important other than just something different. I look forward to more.
2. I agree. I don't like the snow.
3. I don't mind the giants or the dragon and isn't looking like Scarlet Johansson a good thing?
4. I don't care what the Christmas tree looks like as long as it is a new one each year. I like to keep one from each year.

Other than the wall price reduction and some issues I'm having with dragons, I thought they nailed this update. It is great.

I really wished the events have more dimensions others than what we already have seen before in the game. Hog rider event was nothing but an one-time achievement. I thought there would be more clan collaborations or another format of game play. As of now, the events have not lived up to the hype for me. Surprisingly the only thing from this update that keeps me playing is the new hero levels. SC just bought itself a few more months of time while we work on maxing the heroes again. It's will be the same boring game for me once the heros are maxed.

The events were just added. It leaves a lot of room for some good things down the road to be added to the game.

I still don't care for the look of healer or Valk. The rest are OK and I got use to them. The balloon is a little hard to read, but I just am not warming up to the healer and Valk.

I'm very amused by the Santa's Surprise spell. First, I will only attack when I scout a base with a 2016 Xmas tree on the edge. Then I release the Santa Surprise near it to drop the presents on my opponent. And finally, here comes my barch.

Wall breakers and healer have become completely useless.
