Now that we know sooner or later SC is going to decrease the cost of upgrade, instead of raiding I will just attack twice a day and collect the star bonus together with the collectors yielding. No need to farm for the wall. Perhaps half a year later the cost will be cut by half again. It's like offering half price for spoiled milk instead of putting the fresh milk on supermarket shelves.

Exactly, what about all those you've mugged off today supercell? Pretty embarrassing that you've gotten to this point and have to give people 600 million cost breaks to keep them interested (not to mention dark elixir). What are you going to do about it?
So, alot of negativity going around; reduced price on walls, not enough content, turn of the snow (I agree), the new graphics are horrible, etc. Did you even look in the event tab and understood what it says?
1. In about 20 hours we get "Hog Rider Event" - Exciting stuff to look forward to!
2. In 2 days we get the gem boost so many were asking and hoping for!
3. In 2 days we get "1st day of Clashmas", that's 1/3, don't forget that - and it could be anything!
After that we still have 2 more presents to open, and unlimited more events to come.
It's so sad to see all this negativity when we just recieved such an amazing update.
Some love for Supercell please, and happy holidays. Clash on!
And not to forget, how smooth and fast the update was applied.

I can no longer get to my village after the update this morning. The button to link account pops the email dialog, but after selecting the account, it was Welcome "Google play username", but the village does not load and the link button stays red.
Agreed. The SC team have worked tirelessly to bring balance changes and new and exciting graphics and game modes like events. They deserve a lot of credit for this and the wall cost decreases were probably well thought-out.

And what do you think about all these wall cost/buildings/hero reductions? Slap in the face for anyone who worked damn hard to max their bases at th10 and 11 don't you think?

Not usually one for being negative, however I am thinking of retiring as the drop in wall cost equals 305 million loot stolen from my account.
It is a massive slap in the face to those of us who showed a bit of dedication in trying to farm walls.
Returning the lost loot would have softened the blow slightly but I have no doubt nothing will be done.
3 years input and at a stroke it can all be gone.
Shame.
