When engineered clans have gone too far! Yes at this point its called cheating!

OP sorry you got out played strategically in a strategy game. How come you aren't on here complaining when the matchmaking is in your favor?

Give me a break with the condescending ♥♥♥♥. It is just frustrating to play a game when others care about winning soooo much that they will game the system to get an unseemly ridiculous advantage. Bravo, enjoy the win but do not think you will get respect from anyone other than fellow engineers and noobs that do not know any better. Strategy?? Before you answer it is not cheating, the actual English definition of cheating is ... act unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. It perfectly o.k. to not get major defenses before you upgrade your troops, heroes that is understandable and a reasonable way to war. But when the entire clan is engineered? Having defenses 2 TH levels below your town hall? At what point would you not call that cheating?

See for yourself read the matchup below. was this a mismatch or an engineered plan who knows how to work out matchmaking to gain an advantage in war.

our sister clan lvl 5 has faced the effects of matching an super engineered clan lvl 9. They got the cc troop advantage in being able to place their max troops in the cc compared with our th8 troops . Also looking at their clan non of them are actually active, i.e no trophy level with the exception of one guy who does the donating, the th10 with maxed troops. The rest is a ghost clan. Not sure but this could be one guy with 20 plus accounts???? Regardless many people in the forum have requested that SC puts more of an emphasis on troop levels to balance the matchmaking process so that engineered clans like this do not immediately or instantly get the upper hand in war. So far they have obliterated our bases because they have maxed air troops one th lvl ahead of us. They are using th9 max dragons and rage with our th8 bases, some of them not maxed. Our th8s have no choice but to use ground troops, but with the extra bombs, traps and walls, maxed heroes, maxed cc troops, and most of their walls are maxed levels from base 8 and upwards. I am sure this one guy or if it is a clan is laughing going hahahahaha, thank you supercell for allowing me to engineer my clan to gain the upper hand in war.

What was your worst matchmaking experience and how did it work out for you? Describe your experiences with engineered clans and how did you approach them in war.


We had only

• one th9, with lvl 1 xbows and th8 troops, th8 defences, as a th9 beginner.
• 6 th8 varied levels, begginer to almost max.
• 5 th7, varied levels.
• 4 th 6
• 3 Th 5
• 1 th 4

our cc troops lvl 3 valkerie, lvl 6 loon, lvl 4 dragon, lvl 6 loon, etc..

Vs

• One th10 maxed troops and heroes. lvl 1 xbows, the rest th8 defences lava walls.
• 6 th9 no xbows, maxed air troops, th7-th8 defences. mortors really low level. lvl 4 drags, max rage, lvl 6 loons . Their bases had max air defences, the rest th7 defences or lower, some lvl 2 mortors there.
• 6 th7 ( from th7 and below their bases are reasonable and we have no problem 3 starring them)
• 4 th5
• 4 th4

their cc troops max baby drag, max wizards, and max Valkyries.

when are you guys going to learn that this is your own fault for putting a bunch of different th lvls in war. if your highest th is a th9 then the lowest should be a th7. stop complaining and learn how to lead a clan.

Fully agreed. It's all about the mindset to win rather than gaming the system. If you have a mindset, you'll do anything to gain that advantage

Anyone who plays pokemon, do you realise that players who play vgc (less limitations and tiers, less rules and official format) are far stronger than players who play smogon (lots of limitations and tier lists, more artificial rules)?

Yes, especially with last year's national wins (though there was some controversy) it was practically with a raichu that was out of the norm for even the experienced players.

Under smogon rules it be looked down upon or laughable, even if they are meant more for a singles rather than a doubles standpoint, but the point still stands.

Anything outside the norm or usual play, especially without restrictions stands far better than the average joe.

Why is it cheating to prioritize offense over defense? My new TH10 has had 4 builders constantly busy. I just choose to do camps before cannons, lab and spell factory over archer towers heroes before everything and xbows/IT last. I have not had time to even do my collectors. With two builders always on heroes, the other two are just now finishing camps.

I started TH10 once my TH9 heroes and walls were maxed at TH9. Consequently, my defenses are still at TH7 levels. I do not have 4th wiz tower, extra cannon or AT. I have no xbows or IT. How am I cheating? This is progression at the rate that SC allows. Do I have to gem to make you happy? Or do I just need to upgrade in the order that you prescribe?

Sorry, I am playing the game the way that I want. Go play the way you want. Cheating is an unfair advantage. Prioritizing offense over defense is strategy.

Exactly this. If sc wanted everything to be fair then they would just give us all max ths in war. ie once a go to th9, i'm in war with a max th9 as my opponent is too. no, it's your game to play it how you, or I want it.

Once SC make playing this game in any way divergent from step by step maxxing a case of cheating, it will be the most boring game ever created from a pretty exciting premise.

Actually, we don't have any advantage in farming. The clan we are facing is giving us less then 10000 minimum loot for the bottom 11 bases out of 20. My war win bonus right now is 6,900 gold and elixir. The cherry on top is that we aren't even farming right now, we do farming wars on weekends and duke it out wars on weekdays.

You haven't even understood what I posted. I didn't say you get a advantage in loot from wars, I said you get an advantage in FARMING, i.e. regular matchmaking where you get matched based on th level. Engineered bases get hit very hard because they have low defences.

Well, maybe then you should care more about winning too but you don't . not our problem to hear these accusations of cheating when you loose.

Personally not a fan of engineered bases but to call them cheating is a big stretch they give away 3 stars on def to gaurentee 3 on offense its a risk reward system and if you get flustered hitting a weak th10 or upgrade with a defensive focus you're gonna draw a bad match its simple.
