Why am I penalized for a successful defense?

Perhaps without getting all defensive y not give it a shot? C how it goes for u. I'm sorry u experiencing this but its apparent ur method isnt satisfactory to u. Since that is the case y not take advice n go higher instead of doing same thing n griping about it? No offense but its very apparent u r young (which is fine btw). But dont stay young n ignorant refusing to take valid advice. Theres a reason y some here telling u to go higher bc we know what higher league farming is like n dont run into those problems u r experiencing. Dont get mad n cry about it. Try solving it instead bc trust us, this "problem" is easily remedied. Choice is up to u but if u wanna continue to do what u have been doing just suck it up n keep prodding. Gl

You fail to see my point regarding this thread, and to be honest, you don't have anything of substance to add regarding the topic of discussion. My age has nothing to do with any of this. I'm not looking to change my base design, move up trophies, or anything else of that nature. I'm looking for a change in the game mechanics regarding the full army attacks vs bases that defend <30%. You clearly can not comprehend this though. As it's clear you have nothing relevant to this discussion, you're also not welcome on this thread any longer, and because you continue with personal attacks, I have reported you as well.

um news flash. just because you are being attacked by your own th level doesn't = i demand a shield. generally speaking "bad" attackers hang around in lower leagues (and yes there is such a thing as "bad" th9+ attackers)... because they can't get to higher leagues. kinda stating the obvious huh?

the majority of hardcore farmers understand the cost of doing business in lower leagues includes the "dreaded" <30% attacks and don't complain about it - in fact the really smart attacker take advantage of it. its something that requires factoring when deciding if lower league gameplay is "for you".

It's not about good vs bad attackers though. I also don't think it's about base design. I don't think people generally can design bases to prevent 30% destruction. But, when sniping was gotten rid of, SC explained it was so that everybody's loot was at risk at some point. I get your point about cost of doing business, but I don't think anybody in any league at any TH level should have to have their loot at risk vs full armies over and over again. It has nothing to do with entitlement. And, this is a frequent enough topic that I don't think you can say that the majority understand it. It's an extremely common complaint.

Having just looked at my defence log as a TH10 floating between gold and crystal, I have 6 attacks where enough of an army to give a shield was used but <30% destruction was done. Loot lost was minimal and that's 6 more wins towards my unbreakable achievement. No worries here.

♥♥♥♥. hmm... so basically you want to complain about a mechanic that "in your glorious and imperious" opinion that cannot under any circumstance be refuted, and you're too stubborn and/or lazy to try some of the suggestions that have been graciously provided to you by others who have also experienced your "pain and suffering" of <30% attacks... you know why they were suggested right? because <30% attacks have been around for a year... ppl have kinda figured it out... so you're kinda late to the party on this topic.

TLDR: this thread is just a whinge-fest and OP has no desire to do anything on his own part to alleviate his problems. Only wants SC to "fix" it!

If you are not looking to take any action yourself to remedy the situation I question the need for this thread in General.

If you wish to propose a change to the game you should post in IFR.

i actually agree with you. unlike OP you're actually rational and provide a reasoned argument (and don't just tell ppl who disagree with you to shut up and go away!). if the devs think the mechanic is flawed, it will be fixed. is it flawed? imo it's not. but then again i'm not a dev. lol.

and yes, your reasoning is logical... if that is what SC devs intended.
