make TH2 easier!

I just started a second account and realised at TH2, the game has a really steep curve!
To upgrade a collector or storage 700/750 of a resource but goblin villages only give you 1k of each. level 2 collectors only give 400 per hour.
a search cost 50gold so you would be broke within 15 searches and with TH matching, it is really hard to find a TH2 with good loot!
Seriously, how does a new player play this game?

EDIT: Im guessing most people haven't started a new account recently or just gemmed their way to th3/4 or are just too lazy to read what I've posted.
I totally agree that that lower THs are very easy to farm in general, am TH3 now and can fill my storages in 2raids.
I am specifically saying at TH2, it wasn't really possible because you run out of gold nexting, trying to find a suitable base to raid with your 20 barbs.

I started a new account not so long ago, and starting off was the easiest part of the game.
Maybe just reconsider your stratagy on your new account.

How did u do that? All I could do in the first hours of the game was collecting loot for upgrades. All of the bases I found on matchmaking either don't give any loot or are too tough for my 20 barbs. Feels like I'm playing farm ville

Game is much easier when you're in a lower town halls. I don't see any reason for you to think that life down there is hard.

If something is hard at TH2, that is where you should stay.

I'm guessing this is not serious? I started a second account about 6-7 months ago and have it at near max th8 now. If you're struggling at th2 then I don't know how to help you! Surely you know how to barch for good loot?

If you'r struggling at TH 2 I suggest you don't play this game anymore.
