Captain I - III Achievement help (part 2)

Thrasher gave me and idea....I wouldn't want to be that harsh but since we ask people to read the first post maybe we could add a note to it. "We are here to help people achieve Captain 111...it doesn't matter if you are still on level 1 or 11 at the moment, we are here to help you get your Captain 111 achiement"

or something to that effect....just a thought

Hopefully Sophia is still here....with starting the thread it wasn't for boat help. I don't have a problem with changing it but, if we do it should still include Cap III. I don't want people to get cap I and say thx for the help.....I don't even acknowledge the two previous achievements because that is not the goal. Just the way I think...IDK

Also when you started the thread and threw the idea in there it was only the origanal 4 helping out and most of us (except you) at lower levels and haven't unlocked everything yet. After a week or so it was still us 4 and juggling over 15 candidates.

I think it was around that time Red was a candidate or shortly after graduation so she will probably still remember having to keep a full boat at the dock almost all the time. In those days we had to be very carefull taking on candidates who still had a long way to go. Since FH really was the only one who could supply jams and such.

Times have changed much since then with so many fantastic Captains on board helping out.

Anyway I do agree with FH that the goal should be all the way to Captain III. It wouldn't be nice if people say thanks and leave with just a I or II.. They might also come back later and ask for help all over again and we would have to do boats 1-6 all over again using lots of extra stock. Especially with sugars and such.

Just my 2 cents..
We don't have to change it immediately just yet so just try to get every ones opinion and we can always change it in a couple of days.

I am agree for the above....I prefer simple & easy to understand title....

@ K, maybe at the shortlist thread, need to mentioned just for helpers..so that candidates will not post there...every time, we hv to remind/pm candidates to delete their post there...majority are ok, will hv a some challenges for those post & run....

The thread was mainly started because I posted over a dozen times and couldn't even get someone to reply so it scrolled to the next page and gone. K knows this best and we should have discussed more in the beginning rather than pm. I explained to her that the goal was to get people communicating and I think that worked since it gave the servers problems and is still on the first page. And, filling boats in seconds is pretty fun too!

Yes K I did have to hold on to my boat and remember restocking like crazy and giving a gasp of ahhh when you guys filled my missing crates....I thought you all were amazing and still do I do remember near the end asking permission if I could send a boat 2 hrs early...lol times have indeed changed

stocked up on average with 6-7 of each items, but don't have any apple pies or apple juice yet. i'll be hitting 28 soon though and hope they don't pop on my trucks.

Yeah that was a huge thing back then.. FH called it one of my pet peeves... ah that does bring back a lot of nice memories.

Yep. Communication is what makes this work.
Filling boats in seconds is fun too but also remember the times we were all milling sugar like crazy and doing the math on if we were going to make it and which boat is due to leave when so which crates must be filled 1st and so on....

Anyway.. I need to zzZZZzzz now after I change the shortlist title so I will just say good night to you all now.
