There is a lack of diversity when it comes to a defending clan castle. The high health dragons have slow output so combined with poison, they might get one fire breath off before death. I can understand buildings not taking a lot of damage from moving rock, but NPCs certainly would. I think golems could be really effective if their damage output and explosions had a damage multiplier when facing troops. There are at least 20 bowlers used on town hall 11 attacks. Air is too slow and ground is easily taken down by the massive onslaught of raged bowlers.... or a poison spell. I don't even know why people are so concerned about having troops in a war clan castle sometimes.

The golem is a very good troop to keep in defending cc s ( one of the best tropps)
perhaps increasing the golems death damage will help IF he gets near the bowlers!!
