Lightning Spells and AD

What's the highest level Air Defense I can take out with 3 Level 4 Lightning spells? I would just do the math myself, but I've heard from a lot of people that the Lightning Spells don't do exactly the amount of damage listed.

Info:
TH7: 2 Air defense available (max level 5 - hitpoints 990)
TH8: 3 Air defense available (max level 6 - hitpoints 1040)
TH9: 4 Air defense available (max level 7 - hitpoints 1100)
TH10: 4 Air defense available (max level 8 - hitpoints 1160)

TH7: Lightning (max level 4 - total damage 390 - cost 20000 gold)
TH8: Lightning (max level 5 - total damage 420 - cost 22000 gold)
TH9: Lightning (max level 5 - total damage 420 - cost 22000 gold)
TH10: Lightning (max level 6 - total damage 450 - cost 24000 gold)

So 2 lvl 6 lightnings will not destroy a lvl 4 Air defense, but 3 lvl 4 lightning will destroy a lvl 8 Air defense. This means if you intend to use lightning to destroy an Air defense you only need 3 lvl 4 lightning (total cost 60000 gold). For TH9 and TH10, your opponent still has 3 air defenses, but for TH7 and TH8 your opponent only has 1 or 2 Air defenses remaining respectively. So the optimum strategy would be to attack TH7 or TH8, to use 3 lvl 4 lighning on your opponents best air defense (or hardest to get to) and drop your air troops to destroy the other air defenses as quickly as possible and then destroy the rest of the base.
