Progression Thread

If you dont mind, i will also show you my progress i have done so far in th9.
I arrived th9 4 days ago, but i gemmed the last day because i couldnt wait. As for th8, i was maxed out on everything, all my walls were lv8, the only thing that wasnt maxed were my minions which were level 3.
Right when i went th9, i bought all the new stuff (except xbows), i bought the aq, etc. (btw i had full storages when i reached th9)
I immediately put the laboratory, spell factory, clan castle in upgrade and the queen to lvl 2 (i have 4 builders).
Today, my lab finished and i put barbs in upgrade, while my queen was again down, cuz i put it to lvl 3. The cc wants a couple more hours to finish, so i think im pretty good rn. I also have an army camp in upgrade cuz queen finished.
And i aint planning to buy xbows until my queen is level 10-15, so im kinda a 8.5, cuz i aint upgrading the defense too

Could you please give your army details. I generally use laloon and it can crush bases or at least get high 1* or 2* but then since i have only few levels of royals left i dont want to waste too much de. My Clan leader suggested using gowipe but even that would be cost around 1500 de each raid. He asked me to jump to Champ for the loot bonus. Still feel air attacks are better as many times a lot of bows are set to ground.

My army comp is 16 baby drags, 10 loons, 5 wallbreakers and I hav both heroes up. Spells: 2 lightning, 1 quake (mine is lv3), 1 rage, 2 haste. CC I take either minions, baby drags or loons and 1 more haste.

I've hit 3921 cups and started TH10 as I'll have reached Titans as a th9 by that time

You're getting so close... it's frustrating at that stage because you just want it to be over lol.

I'm still enjoying TH10.

AQ still at 30, BK has now reached 26.

Lab: Max Valks finished and working on Golem to 5.

Normally have my king on constantly but needed him for a close war, so I gemmed him and put a giant bomb on. Will be back down when that bomb finishes tomorrow night.

That will be me finished with Teslas when those 3 complete - will be doing Giant Bombs > Seeking Air Mines > Spring Traps. Still not dropped any new defences/upgraded any defences - only traps.

Also managed to do 16 level 11 walls with extra resources.

Well i am having a mixed feeling as of now. Half frustrated and want it to finish and the other half of me want it to be delayed too so that i can work out the royals. So its catch 50 situation lol.

I am holding off the last eq up later today and i have around 102k de so and would have gotten another 10k if we win the war but the other clan is highly eng...and we wont win it. They had miner lv 2 even on their 10th position. 1 th8, 5 th9 and rest all th10 to th11. upg spells and miner lv2 against us who are 2 th10, 10 th9, 1 th7 and rest th8. Lol talk about mismatch but anyway COC wont do anything.

So will have to grind more de today. .

Wlc to the thread and please post your progress in this thread. Absolutely welcome more people to post their experience in this thread and the more users post the better for the new ones to follow. There are different ways of going ahead in Th9, so all kind of experiences help.

Thats a good upgrade you have and very sorted. Keep doing the eli upgrades as much as you can and dump gold in walls. On my mini Th9 i have gone completely different route than my main one. Finished my war troops basically laloon with all required spells max for Th9 like haste etc. And also doing a lot of defenses. Have put all new def except the bows. Now i am doing walls and will work on the royals again. I kept bk at 10 and aq at 10 for a long time and now have started upgrading them. I might rush this account to Th10.

But on my main i cant wait to get to TH10.

Thanks will give this a try and see how it goes. Whats your strategy for attacking? Obviously you are zapping 1 AD. Then do you release loons first or baby drags. I m thinking you dont got for 2* is it?

I zap 1 AD then use 1 /2 baby drag to tank while I haste in 3loons to outer archer towers and any other defenders they take out. I have been using my heroes as well and it's usually 1-star attacks with around 60%

Btw I hit Titans and beat my clan mates to it 😎 So I beat a th11 and a TH10! Very happy with that. I reached 4107 and was shattered that night. I bought a 1wk shield so haven't been raiding since then! Needed a break lol

TH10 will be done in abt 6days so deciding what to do first. I'm not going to be farming hardcore but I want to try miners and bowlers.

Any suggestions? It wil be mainly offense anyway rather than defense. I will however to ADs.

I'm not dropping infernos straight away but wil see how it goes. War weight doesn't bother me neither does war attacks as I don't really war.

I'm also thinking I might try stay in Titans for loot bonus but need to find efficient way of staying here as Babyloon is not getting me enough loot especially as it's an expensive elixir army.

Congrats on hitting Titans and beating your clan mate. I am still moving slowly in Champs 2. Just 13 walls remaining for TH9 and i have started my eq upg in lab which was the final one. So i reckon within a week i should hit TH10 upgrade.

Regarding upgrades in TH10, yes always do offense than defense. Also i generally like to get all the eli buildings done first.

It would be for me army camp, both labs, clan castle and then depending on eli will do all the barracks. Once those are out then i will slowly start the defense. Now with Th10 each upgrade will cost a lot so that itself i feel will take few days. This is what i will plan to do when i hit TH10. Mostly my eli and gold resources would be max as i wont be needing it for TH9 when i decide to hit the upg button.

You can do all miners or all bowlers depending on which resources you need.

3/4 of my Tesla are now max for TH, all giant bombs done and i've started on Seeking Air mines.

Upto 27 Lvl 11 Walls.

The next week will be Bowlers to LVL 2 and then last 2 seeking air mines and then onto spring traps. That will be me done with Traps and then i face the cross roads of what to upgrade - unsure if i should upgrade the existing defences, or slowly start to drop the TH10 ones and get them to TH9 level? Thoughts?

nice progress there ally. Something to follow when i reach TH10.

I always think of adding new defense except those which add war weight like mortar, wiz tower, bows, bomb tower or infernos. You can add the cannon, AT and leave the rest as it is for now.

Mini update as of today.

Just 5 walls remaining. Should be able to do it in couple of days.
Final lab upgrade of eq spell finishing in 4days 12 hours.
BK will get up in 8 hours at 27 while aq is also 27.
Plan is to finish the walls then moment i have 5mil gold will hit TH10. In the meantime will upd AQ to 28 when enough DE. Currently at 70k.
