Hi there

Just came across your thread now and it's really interesting.

I'm th9 with max walls, queen starting 30 today and king at 26.

Only other upgrades I have left are quake, poison and witch.

I'm thinking about going to TH10 now. I originally didn't want to until max my heroes but since finishing my walls I'm sitting on max gold for the few days. Seems such a waste to not use the gold and losing all the gold I'm grabbing in raids.

I started a trophy push on weekend and climbed from gold to champs. I've been to champs before but thought I'd see if I want to go to Titans.

What do you guys think - should I upgrade to 10 or finish my trophy push first? Not sure if upgrading to TH10 will affect availability of cups during my push. If I hit 10 I will just upgrade to spend the gold I'm holding. Don't intend to start properly upgrading TH10 until my king is closer to 30.

Btw I don't take part in wars so war weight and r adobes is not a priority for me.

As you dont participate in war, i would say you can go hit the upgrade button for TH10. Though i dont know much about the bases up high than champs 2 but i do reckon that once you hit TH10 you will see more TH10 bases to attack than now. Obviously you would also be given TH9 too but then you would have loot penalty for those.

Having said go ahead and upgrade and if you cant find good bases to attack you can always go down to gold or crystal league. If you were warring then i would have said get witch to 2 and then upg to th10 and then time your spells upg so that when you finish lab in Th10 the spells are done too.

I am thinking i will go down your route too of upgrading AQ first then doing BK. Up until lv 26 i was always upg the BK first then AQ since that gave me AQ to play for farming. But now i have her going on to 27 and might just stretch her to 30.

I've always found AQ to be more useful for raising and more fun so I've upgraded her as priority.

I'm going to hold off TH10 for a little bit as my clan mate and I are doing a friendly race to Titans. I'm th9 and he is th11. He has given me a 500 trophy head start. I'm in champs 3 and he is in masters 1.

If your pushing then maybe no cz as a th10 you will have to deal with IT even in crystal 3, while you will start seeing th10 in master 1 to champ 3 as a th9.
Nevertheless The plus is that you can get another spell in the first week of th10 and that would help in pushing.

2 army camps are upgrading, going to upgrade the third army camp today.

Traps: upgraded giant bomb, air bomb to th9 lv.

New walls: all lv9 with 6 at lv10.

New troops: the evil bowlers unlocked, its amazing, got high 90% 2* against a major th10 base in war today.
Miners unlocking in an hour, just in about time as the event is coming.

Lab: valks going to max in 5d. Next upgrade will be miners to lv2>>lv3.

Heroes: haven't done anything to the AQ staying at lv30 and not planning on upgrading her anytime soon.
Bk going to lv29 in 3d.

Defences: nothing except the traps.

I've almost reached champs 1 using Babyloon strategy. Still racing to Titans and I'm currently in the lead ahead of a Th11 and TH10 in my clan. I've started to come across quite a few th11 now so this strategy is still working to get me 60% 1 star.

nice upgrades there. Might follow the same way you have done. So you havent put any new TH10 defenses is it? I will go 9.5 too initially without the IT and the 3rd bow. Cant wait to get bowlers unlocked. Seems miners are not bad either.

Could you please give your army details. I generally use laloon and it can crush bases or at least get high 1* or 2* but then since i have only few levels of royals left i dont want to waste too much de. My Clan leader suggested using gowipe but even that would be cost around 1500 de each raid. He asked me to jump to Champ for the loot bonus. Still feel air attacks are better as many times a lot of bows are set to ground.

mini update this week.
So BK is still at 26 and AQ at 27. I have done a lot of walls and now just 26 walls left.
Poison will be lv 3 in 1 days time and then only eq3 will be left in lab. TH9 journey looked so long but happy to have almost done it and ready to grind for TH10. Lol.

Currently sitting on 90k de and thinking of starting BK 27 or AQ 28 in 2 days time. Will hold the EQ updated for few more days till i get some more lv10 walls done.

Plan is still to finish all walls then start the th10 update as i want to go there with max gold and max eli when TH10 upgrade is complete. Still few weeks to go.

You're getting so close... it's frustrating at that stage because you just want it to be over lol.

Hidden Tesla - 2d 9h
Dark Barracks - 3d 11h
Hidden Tesla - 4d 11h
Hidden Tesla - 8d 13d

Normally have my king on constantly but needed him for a close war, so I gemmed him and put a giant bomb on. Will be back down when that bomb finishes tomorrow night.

That will be me finished with Teslas when those 3 complete - will be doing Giant Bombs > Seeking Air Mines > Spring Traps. Still not dropped any new defences/upgraded any defences - only traps.

Also managed to do 16 level 11 walls with extra resources.
