SC really need to reconsider the suitability of so called senior member on this forum.

Responses like this and unbecoming of the position and responsibility, apart from being insulting.

Watch out, the world is getting used to voting against establishments that blatantly ignore the needs, wishes and concerns of their community.

No matter what you think you have done to look after a customer, its the customers perception that matters. Dont be rude to them, listen to their concerns and issues, then do better.

"Senior member" (or any of the other non-coloured labels) are purely based on post count and have no other meaning. There is no "position" or responsibility attached.

A senior member just means they have between 200 and 498 posts (excluding the 333 to 337 range).

"forum superstar" which is what the poster you responded to actually is means 3,000 to 3,999

this is very true, but a forum superstar will usually, not always, know that maintenance is always posted in forums under announcements because they've been playing quite some time and hanging out in the forum long enough to know, so they can provide a useful response if mods are not around if they are a helpful soul. It doesn't preclude them from being a bit cheeky, grumpy or a smart Alec though lol

If mods think I have crossed a line, so be it.

However, this thread is quite unneccessary in the scheme of things and the particular reponse you are so dismayed with, was a reply to an equally unneccessary post in the scheme of things.

Threads and posts of this nature, are the very reason SEVERAL people responded in similar fashion to me. SC had already told us the reason, it beggars belief anyone should require further information.

You noticed?! This indeed was the fastest maintenance break we've had in years. We recently did a huge rework in where and how the servers run. They're still in cloud but this new system is way more modern than the one we had been using for years. Most players won't notice the difference, but this makes the servers even more stable and as a very very very VERY nice bonus our maintenance breaks should be faster from now on.
