Introducing a new troop concept known as the Goblin Ninja, or just the ninja for short. A small, fast moving, sure footed little guy raised on dark elixir whose shuriken can pack a nasty punch in groups. He has a hatred for enemy troops, and will turn his attacks to them if they get too close. Additionally, the agile creature can climb over walls, getting over them slower than the Hog Rider, but still quickly.
Goblin Ninjas are light on their feet, and will not trigger traps
First unlocked with Dark Barracks level 8.

Unique mechanics: Will climb over walls blocking it's path. Will not trigger traps. Deals 10% less damage to air troops.
Offensive strategy: Due to it's short attack range (for a ranged troop), Ninjas work best in groups, deployed as a backup damage-dealer. They are best used as a response to enemy clan castle troops, deployed to help stop them from shredding your front line.
Defensive strategy: Ninjas are weak when dealing with air troops, and their low health has them dying quickly to whatever lands a few hits on them. Since they won't trigger traps, you need to build your base to take them down. Setting inferno towers to multi and keeping mortars and the Eagle artillery defended should shut them down.
