The fog - dark elixir spell

Name: Fog spell (at lv 1)
    - Duration: 10s (increase when upgrade)
    - Cost: 750 dark elixir (increase when upgrade)
    - Range: radius of 4 tiles (increase when upgrade)

    - Effect type: area splash
    - Spell housing space: 4
    - Target: ground
    - Brewing time: 5 min

    Appearance: white - cloudy circle

Description: This expensive dark spell can swing the battle into your favor by allowing you to create a fog on the battlefield. Your "ground troops" in the fog will become untargetable by all defenses outside the foggy area (not eagle artillery and defenses/bombs/traps within fog). Your troops still fight in the fog but you will lose your sight on them.

(Note: lose sight = you won't be able to see them, their health, what they attacking, where they tend to go, etc. If heroes are also in the fog, you can still command to use their ability without seeing them). It only has affect on ground troops.

I dont know if this is really necesarry this will actually take over the role of the tanks like giants, golems, or another tank.
It is a nice idea, but i dont think this will be put in CoC
    If it would,
We still have to see our troops and i think for level 1, 10 seconds is to long

when you already deploy troops, you have no other control on your troops accept spells, ability. I want the fog just to be the fog which bring you a huge advantage by not having defenses targeting your troops but also cost you your vision on them. You pretty much know what defenses already inside the fog and how much damage your troops could take so it is totally up to you to decide when to you spell even without seeing them.
I think 10s is fair enough for a 1500 d/e 4 housing space spell at lv 1. If most of your troops within the fog, they might only need few seconds to completely wipe out defense in there and get out of the fog before timing up.
I actually got the idea when doing the searching for attack and I want the cloudy effect just like that

    1500 d/e i thought 750, confusing to me.
Second thing, i like the idea, but this spell is a timed tank. I dont think many people will use this spell when it gets into CoC, it is a nice and original idea, but people will use tank troops and use other spells.
If you want a spell that may be used lower housing space and time, i think no-one wants to take this spell instead of 2-4 other spells
I really like it but 4 housing space for 1 spell, seems to much to me.
