Should I keep 1 builder free for walls

I have 5 builders, and heard it takes a lot of time to upgrade walls,
Right now my walls are all lvl 7( purple)
And tomorrow I m going to be th9.

My defenses are all upgraded, only AT an canons all are at lvl 9.

I m gonna do th8.5 thing for a while,

So should I keep 1 builder free, and focus on walls???

I love goblin raids
And do giwivape for de raiding.

And soon gonna try goblin knife as soon as get jump spell.

Usually need gob lvl 6 to gob knife (lvl 5 get oneshotted by WT/Mortar)

Anyways, it depends. How much do you farm? If you consistently max out storages really quickly, then yes.

Don't 8.5 you're not ready for it. I'm not sure why you went to TH9 but you sound like you're in the same situation as I was once in when I got to th9, I'm now a th10. It takes maybe 3 months to unrush your base, then 9 months to max the rest.

If you're a quick farmer, leave a free builder. If you're a slow farmer, leave 3 or 4 free builders.

Your bottleneck at th9 is your heroes: 10 months of downtime requiring 4.25M dark elixir. Unless you want to be done your buildings LONG before you're done your heroes (not wise if you like winning wars), hold back AT LEAST one builder, and constantly dump the excess gold and pink into walls after each raid.

I decided to keep 1 builder free, unless i have some 1 or 2 days upgrade.

I decided to rush because, I dont wanna waste elixir which I have plenty.

I could use that excess elixir to upgrade walls in th9.

GOB lvl 6 , well thats gonna take some time.

My hogs are still behind, so they are the priority rightnow.

and then giants lvl 6 or gobs lvl 6 after that.

I m a hardcore war player ,thats why th8.5!!

I m not planning to add any new defence,

And xbows are a big no untill, I get decent th9 army.
and be able to 3 star mid lvl th9 bases.

For research, giants, hogs, gobs (if you use them a lot) and then war troops.
