Is maxed th really the best idea?.

image.jpgIv run into this "problem" where im in silver 1, with my almost maxed defence th6, but i can't really do much attacking since all i go up against it th 7,8,9 my troops can't possibly win against the bases at the level there at, but im always told "finish maxing your base before you upgrade your th" but i was thinking about it..and you might say im "addicted" to this game, and am hardly ever offline, is it really worth it to keep maxing town halls? Or should i just up town all and troops?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks

I like to say work on walls and troop levels, and when walls, heroes and MOST lab upgrades are complete, then you can move up to the next town hall since you can get the extra couple of levels for your defenses there. Walls cost the most to upgrade, and loot penalty is the worst thing about moving up in TH levels, so get the expensive stuff done then you are free to climb.

There is nothing wrong with you going to TH7 when TH6 is not maxed. (lets be honest, TH6 is really like.. TH5.5)

Ever since SuperCell did that one gem seven day gold/elixer collector, raiding has profited a lot espicially in the silver league. You will have no problem being premature

I rushed to TH7 without a second thought, so at least you are asking the question, which is good!

TH7 is a great place to be, and for me I was there a very long time. If you find your troops are not good enough for what you want to do in the game, I say go for it, go to TH7, get your troops and barracks up, and have a lot of fun there... if you want to get your defenses up, you can certainly do it all at TH7, I know because that's exactly what I did (as I say, I was there a very long time, until I'd maxed out mostly everything). After all, there's no point in grinding it out, trying to max everything at TH6, if you are not enjoying it... yes, doing that will make TH7 easier, but by that stage you just might find the fun has gone...

Just remember one thing - your troops are never good enough for some bases, your defenses are always going to get smashed at some point, the next TH will always look better than where you are now, and once you do upgrade there is always a period of pain where you have so much to do just to start feeling like you are back on top of it all...

Last thought - your number of builders huts could explain some imbalance? I only had 3 huts at TH7, and got all my elixer work done well before defenses were maxed. Now I'm TH8 I have 5 huts, and am the opposite - I can't upgrade my troops fast enough so have had to slow down the building work; a guy in my clan has 2 huts and has almost finished every troop and spell upgrade yet his base defenses are much worse than mine. I beleive 4 huts is optimal, certainly from TH7, so you don't end up in a similar position at TH7 - ideally, you want your main troops maxed out to help you get gold for defenses, but not so early that you have nothing to ever spend it on, or you'll keep pushing your TH up and up until you find you have great troops but can't hold onto your loot long enough to spend it.

And u dont want to be a TH7 with gold walls atleast get half of them to lvl6

Just go to town hall 7. Then farm your way up. I was at gold walls at town hall 7. I've finished town hall 7 in two months with maxed everything.
