Absolutely, I've seen many such posts myself (from maxers), and yes, I would be the first to correct them where necessary. My neutrality comes purely from the education supplied by this forum. Over time you come to appreciate the opinions and views of others, even if they play the game slightly differently from yourself!

I think that is also one of the ways they keep winning. You see, in clan wars, you have this thing called offensive and defensive weight. Your place in wars are defined by your defensive weight. A town hall 10 having no inferno towers is a smart way to reduce defensive weight and have lower opponents in war which ultimately results in easier wins. But, this is just a theory about the reason they dont have inferno towers. The war weight is completely tested and proved true. Your welcome
So, my clan has a trio of TH10 bases, one with max infernos, two without any infernos. The two without are much better attackers, and regularly do well against bases that have infernos, whereas the guy with them is usually lucky to barely get 2 stars against such a base (and is not a lot better against TH10 bases without them). I'd call him the clan poster child for not building defenses you can't beat if you want to be in war. Taking him to war generally puts us at a disadvantage compared to leaving him at home. I would freely admit to trying to manipulate the matchup by leaving him out as often as possible; can you tell me a good reason why I should feel bad about doing so? We have a long history of such manipulation: those two good attackers used to be very weak attackers, and we lost a lot of wars when they were at the top of the roster before we spotted the pattern, and they decided to bench themselves for the good of the clan and eat their Wheaties. Am I acting unfairly by manipulating the matchmaking like this? I observed the results of our wars, spotted a pattern, and acted on it to improve our results. I'm not sure I see a bright line anywhere between "good" manipulation and "bad" manipulation.
No you arent acting unfairly as you are well within your rights to do whatever you want with your clan...
I could counter that with a question of my own, Do you think that you might be attaching too much importance to a mobile game with no tangible reward, such that the enjoyment / participation of others is secondary to achieving what is ultimately a pretty meaningless 'victory'?
Im a right barrel of laughs this morning
10% of enemies in my wars are decent attackers
10% of engineered clans we met are decent attackers
10% of maxxer clans we met are decent attackers...
See the pattern here? That is why I laugh when people say engineers have no skill, which is partly true. Yet, I can say the same for maxxer clans, or any clan for that matter...
