Teslas: grouped or spread out?

Just wonder what you strategy is with Teslas and the effect. Do you bunch them up together are are they spread out around your base as other defences tend to be?

I used to have them bunched and they worked well like that. Granted for the past three months one of the three has always been upgrading (I'm TH 8 and they are at lvl5. Well, one upgrades to 5 in one more day...)

I just redesigned my base (Pinfao's Tesla Theme Park) and now they are spread around. I've only had a few attacks, as yet, so I haven't been able to evaluate them, really.

Anyway, I'd be interested to hear you thoughts....

A near outskirt tesla is handy in zapping wall breakers. The clustered inner one are usually for trophy, townhall defense.

I would say to adjust based on which range you are at, and what kind of troops your attacker use more often.

I'm by no means an expert, but my own personal preference is to have them bunched. I've just maxed my last one and love nothing more than watching those bad-boys rip through troops. I have had bases where they've been spread in the past, but they never seemed to achieve a great deal (other than a distraction for advancing troops).

During recent trophy pushes I had them all around the town hall - they are spectacular when used in unison. Now I'm back farming again, I've kept them together.

I would add, Teslas are my favourite defence, so it's more for my own enjoyment that I bunch them.
