I don't want to see any more eggs!!! PLEASE almost wishing for tofu dogs and cloche hats again.lol I never grow wheat corn or strawberries and after many like 10 goes through the dd still have none. I used to always buy eggs as I never produced enough but this is crazy. One of my enjoyments within hay day was the shopping in the dd and I can honestly say this has curbed my addiction. Anyway enough of me moaning and back to the dd to find some wheat corn and hopefully a strawberry or 2.��

Eggs were the tofu dogs before there was tofu dogs. once upon a time in a land right here. when Greg was only level 50 and the maximum player level was under 100 there was 3 main things you found in the newspaper Eggs Wheat and bacon and eggs....

after the first week the eggs will most likely drop back into minimal and indigo will take over. then as the month goes on wheat will rise back to it's place to prominence. It's simply a case of supply and demand. currently the supply is higher than demand like it used to be. it won't last. I don't see people spending diamonds just to harvest more eggs faster. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

This is simply my theory.

Nobody is going to be buying eggs anyways whether they are 10/180 or 10/50, so if you can't get the visitors to buy the egg (it seems like that algorithm didn't get looked at), then you might as well maximize your profit for when Greg or Tom come to buy the eggs out of your shop.

@Tiaxotrx, indigo simply is always prominent because it is a fantastic item to use to make an ad stick if you're doing a bunch of back to back boat tasks, flagging and you don't want to keep on placing new ads.

Indeed, I always remind my hoodmates to sell something advertised such as indigo or chilly popcorn to get outside help for their boats.

Still egg mad, just experienced on two full pages featuring 23 of 24 ads all eggs.

Wheat is gone, although that tends to happen after an update. Updates must break the robot wheat farmers, I guess they need to be re-programmed post update to fill the paper with Wheat; and also some Corn again.

It's that sad I was actually excited to buy Strawberries this morning. They are usually quite common.

The wheat is flying off the shelf as soon as you put it on sale, so it is the perfect time get wheating to expand that barn!

And with all those eggs in the paper this would be a great time for a Visitor Event. I know. Not gonna happen.

In any case my visitors have developed quite a taste for my eggs and even though it's not a great price, I'm inclined to give them some. Keeps Rose busy and it seems like she likes to keep busy. She's raking the whole farm!

Yes this is getting annoying now. I can't even find wheat and I accidentally ran out of wheat!

These eggs ads may have some other items behind them but they're so unaesthetically pleasing to click, there's no appeal. At least wheat would make you think "oh this guy is farming, might be expansion, barn, silo items behind them"... but eggs? Ewwwwww <.<

I honestly don't know what everyone is doing...Rose isn't picking up any of my eggs. Though I'm gonna set her to collect milk every hour tonight and sell that when I wake up.

I think it's a fair assumption that the glut of eggs is because people are using Rose for her. But if that's the case, then why? Do all these people think they need eggs? Or are they so confused by the feature that Eggs are all the know how to request, or don't know that they can change the request?

It doesn't have to be because of Rose...maybe SC tried to improve the ad selection algorithm and got it wrong? That wouldn't be the first time. But my money is on Rose.

My newspaper has about 90% eggs listed, which is bad when you are in a derby tasks of collecting eggs and then trying to sell eggs this is ridiculous!!

the addition of the machines that use eggs galore caused the price of eggs to go from 50 per 10 to 180 per 10. what with needing 4 for mayo and 4 for egg sushi and 4 for egg salad sandwich and more for pasta soup others.


(Still not sure why the hat maker can't make straw hats.)
