Set your eggs to 0 then she won't collect anything.

Right now all my chickens are fed and ready to be collected and she isn't touching them even though she's active.

From experience - she's useful for producing animal stock.

But if you want to collect items, best to do it manually. Then she'll feed them and remake the animal stock.

Perhaps we need an event for eggs like they once did with bacon and eggs. It would solve the problem of egg overflow just like it did then.

You could always just sell them to the farm visitors, rather than clogging up the DD. Just a thought ...

I'm frustrated because I wake up to be wiped out of wheat by Rose and couldn't find any in the newspaper. Had to plant my own starting at 1 wheat lol. Finally found some for sale at max price. I never pay max for wheat. It's gonna be frustrating if this keeps up because I never plant my own wheat or corn.

Im gonna thump Rose over the head with her pitch fork if she doesn't stop her crazy ways. Setting her to zero hasn't helped me and every ad has EGGS rose you dirty rotten egg.

Eggs! The new tofu dogs.

Eggs were the tofu dogs before there was tofu dogs. once upon a time in a land right here. when Greg was only level 50 and the maximum player level was under 100 there was 3 main things you found in the newspaper Eggs Wheat and bacon and eggs.


the addition of the machines that use eggs galore caused the price of eggs to go from 50 per 10 to 180 per 10. what with needing 4 for mayo and 4 for egg sushi and 4 for egg salad sandwich and more for pasta soup others.


(Still not sure why the hat maker can't make straw hats.)


after the first week the eggs will most likely drop back into minimal and indigo will take over. then as the month goes on wheat will rise back to it's place to prominence. It's simply a case of supply and demand. currently the supply is higher than demand like it used to be. it won't last. I don't see people spending diamonds just to harvest more eggs faster. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

what is really weird though is that almost nobody reacts accordingly and decreases the price for eggs!

By now people should know that eggs don't sell for 18 coins a piece...

Nobody is going to be buying eggs anyways whether they are 10/180 or 10/50, so if you can't get the visitors to buy the egg (it seems like that algorithm didn't get looked at), then you might as well maximize your profit for when Greg or Tom come to buy the eggs out of your shop.

@Tiaxotrx, indigo simply is always prominent because it is a fantastic item to use to make an ad stick if you're doing a bunch of back to back boat tasks, flagging and you don't want to keep on placing new ads.

I just did an eggs-periment... for fun.

I changed my farm name to "I am not selling eggs!" and put out jams, chocolate, LEMs, Maps, veggies for base price.

It took 6 ads to clear my shop and it was cleared by someone who had already taken one thing after the 4th ad, so the eggs are really backing up the classifieds
