I'm excited for update! Just want to know if we will need expansion tools! I don't want to sell all of mine and then regret it.
Also, think it'd be fair to have new helpers for hire using coins for short periods of time and diamonds or vouchers for extended amounts of time.

I haven't seen a derby deco in my horsehoe prize choices in months, and never below the 5th horseshoe level.
I have horse jump in my 4th horseshoe this derby and it is the first one I have seen in about 6 months.

Not to be pessimistic. This is a personal opinion that doesn't reflect anyone else opinion, I know. But at this point, I think this update will be useless for me, I explain my point, the new helpers, if they need diamonds to be hired, then I won't use their service. And in 13 weeks I'm done with derby and I can't wait already, so I don't really care about the new Derby prizes. In 27 weeks in played, I only got 3. So I can't imagine winning the new one.

Hopefully tomorrow sneak peek will be good.

I'll wait until the update to judge but so far not too impressed with the sneak peeks. And if these helpers require diamonds, talk about disappointment.

Exactly. That would be a fail. A feature that would be used by a minority of users, for an update waited by a lot of users, all disappointed. But like you said, we'll wait and see.

Agree, that's why I don't expect it to be a Diamond cost. So many players have an awful surplus of coins & vouchers; a logical decision would be to provide an additional avenue to consume them. These helpers could be it.

Food related payments another possibility given how a competitor operates.

If it is Diamonds only...well I'm not prepared to consider that as a possibility right now, it won't be pretty.

I never hire Tom because my barn is always full to busting. Why would I hire people to do my chores when I have no room for what they would produce, even if I could pay for them with the 1,800-odd green vouchers I have? Now, if this update included Perky's barn expansion matrix, THEN I would get excited about this update.

Fair call, something to relieve barn stress, such as Perky's suggestion would be welcome. Especially considering that last mass food update made barn management for higher level players much more difficult. There has been no sign to date of any measures to relieve the additional stress that was applied on higher level farmers as a result of it.

Clashers used to term this as 'punishing progression'. It's part of the reason so many clashers made second & third accounts. Because the grind at the top was too excessive. Updates over time did relieve this stress somewhat.

Now I'm not a high level farmer here in Hay Day. But I think it would be fair to say that last food update made it harder for you guys.

Any wishing you were a low level again to enjoy the game more?

It made it more complex and needed you to rethink relative stock levels, but I would say it's harder for those farms hovering around 1000 size barn (usually without those products yet) - to me that was the real pinch point in play so far. And I love Perky's suggestion too, just because the grind to max takes so long.
