I'm sure she'll be a diamond purchase assistant, like Tom she *may* come with a free trial (also like Tom), but I don't have an issue with the cost. It's still up to me to buy the services with diamonds or not, just like it's up to me to call boats early or speed things up.

I am hoping vouchers or coins is the option for hiring her. After buying pets and a few deco. Making lures. There really isn't a use for vouchers. It would be a boost in my game to be able to use some.

I agree with Tomville. Rose (and probably her significant other, as well) are a totally new feature in the game. My definition of "new feature" is something that is not just a variation on something we already have. For example, the bees were a new feature, the puppies and kittens were not. The NH trading house was a new feature, the onions and taco stand were not. While I love my onions and very much appreciate being able to use them in new products, they didn't add an original element of play to the game. A "new feature" requires more than plugging different graphics into an existing program.

Rose is definitely new. I picture her living in the little house on the cliff (although I would love to think that the little house will be more like the NH house and be a location for contacting in-game friends who are not neighbors!) I picture her sitting and drinking tea when she is available to hire and walking down the little path on the cliff to the farm to do her chores. Alternatively, I picture her strolling around my farm, occasionally raking something up while waiting to be hired.

I agree that it will probably require diamonds to purchase her services. However, even if I don't hire her, I would love to just see her walking around the farm. If she follows the paths I've created rather than walking through buildings and walls like the pets, I will be ecstatic!!! If she walks around the farm like she lives there, she would be a wonderful addition to the farm, whether or not she is doing chores.

Aside from the diamonds, I assume that the management trick will be to have enough feed stocked up for her to use, and have enough space in the barn for her to collect the animal products. I'd love to think that I could pick the animal(s) I want her to work with. For example, I usually buy eggs from the RSS. Will she be able to collect stacked animal feed? If she's doing the chores rather than moi, can the barn be overfilled? That would be a huge thing! For those of us who do our own chores, especially those who seldom hire Tom to do anything, I'm hoping there is some incentive to hire Rose--something besides allowing us to complete the animal feed Derby task in our sleep. Perhaps she will get twice as much cream/butter/cheese from the cows as we can!
