    Idea for Edit Base Mode

When editting a base, is it possible to add a feature that allows you to almost do a "Mock Test" on your base with different spells?

The reason i ask, is i'm slowly tweaking my war base, as i thought my infernos were good, didn't realize someone could hit both with a single freeze spell. Once i realized this, i knew i needed to change my inferno placement (with limited space to do it). The issues is, i have to move the inferno 1 space, have my clan do a FC, then change it again and wait 24 hours to see if the inferno placement is correct etc.

Agree, its very annoying to have to wait 24 hours, change a little thing and have to wait another 24 hours to test it again. I don't get why they implemented the 24 hours in the first place

I understand completely needing to wait 24 hours. And actually your response is perfect as an answer to why we cannot use a mock spell to test something. So (whether intentional or not, thank you).

The reason was so if there's a top base in war, you can't simply change your base to mock theirs, and have people practice on it repeatedly. Same could be said of inferno placement in war...if people wanted to, they could put infernos / eagle etc in same places as someone in war, then say Yes/No as to whether 1 freeze will hit both buildings.

even though its a good reason, I still hate it
I'd say they need to change the rule a bit: let's say that if less than 50% of the base is changed/movedduring the edit, we shouldn't have the 24 hours because it is impossible to build someone else's base unless you already had that base. (except for when you use the 'move the whole base' feature in edit-mode)

50% imo sounds a lot too much, maybe if less than 10% is moved the penalty cool down doesn't activate. Yeah, this feature is to prevent from sandbox attacking an opponent's base in clan war.

I don't see how you could sandbox attack someone else's bases if you only have half of it?

What I meant is, the reason why there is a 24-hour cooldown is to prevent from sandboxing a copied base. Since there isn't a limit to how many challenges a player can set up, with out the cooldown, it would be very easy to sandbox and win the war.

I'm saying: you may change half of the base.
If you only have 50% of a base you can't sandbox....

Oh ok. Yeah, there needs to be a certain percentage of the base that you an adjust without incurring the cooldown.

Sorry if I was too unclear, I'm not a native-speaker. Thank you for agreeing with me
