yes a few have taken the 'blame apple' line. But it's SC who broke the code and still released it. They must have known it would take a while to get the update in the App Store, why not wait until it was available/ approved before releasing the server side changes? At best it's poor release management (and testing). At worst it appears that they just don't care. Not the first time for that either.

I'm on an iOS. No update and I can't drag my troops. I hope this wasn't deliberate by SC because I was just starting to enjoy the new troop cooking system. Fix it SC!!!!

Solution : Go back in the playstore, find CoC and click on "update".

You can move troops to the front again.

Hello and welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear that you are having an issue. I was wondering if you have read the sticky and updated your CoC version (version 8.551.18)? Please double check to make sure its version 8.551.18

We have disabled the army training "dragging feature" in the old version due to some existing bugs. We have deployed an optional update (version 8.551.18). This optional update contains the Halloween theme, as well as a fix for the drag&drop feature.

The optional update is slowly showing up in the AppStore/GooglePlay so if you don't see it yet, no need to panic, you will have the access to the latest version soon! Sorry for the inconvenience!

A lot of times, you have to be patient with upgrades. They (SC) can not push the updated client software out too early. So they (SC) have to wait for the servers to go into maintenance. If people install the updated client software before the servers go into maintenance, they will get a version error and wouldn't be able to play.
