    Agree. getting quite bored lately

I agree.. I am a higher level player but no incentives to keep playing... in fact getting no incentive to really improve or keep playing at all

A game that doesn't innovate will not grow, but die slowly. Is it possible SC wants HayDay to stop?
Or are the game developers having a long and big development and creative block? Or are they just fired?

The funny thing is, the same complaints are on the Clash forums site. People complain that more effort and emphasis is being put into Clash Royale and that too many things from Clash Royale are being introduced into Clash. I don't know if Clash gets more attention, or if Clash Royale or if Hay Day does. Supercell says that each has its own development team, but what I can say is that the Hay Day forums are a lovely place to be. I understand that there are issues with the game and people are frustrated, but everyone is supportive and encouraging. Not sure if my post has anything to do with the topic being discussed hahaha, but I saw the comparison with Clash, and I just wanted to complement everyone here for maintaining such a lovely site. If Clash does indeed get more attention, Hay Day receives a lot of love.
What a lovely post! Glad to see a different perspective :-)

From the last Reddit the new owners were going to keep the teams. I could see where there might be some changes and maybe as the dust settles we will see some good stuff in the near future. Love the game!

    Attack of the Clones?

Some of u folks need to spread ur wings and play other games. See how other developers tackle seasonal updates. SC has A LOT to learn.
Haystacker, I agree any game "without newness" will get stale. In fact, one of the reasons I'm playing 2 Hay Day clones is to compare and contrast 3 games during the period leading up to Halloween.

Having celebrated its first birthday recently, Clone #1 has a Grand Pumpkin Event which began a few days ago and will conclude a day after Halloween. It's a drag-and-dump event for individual players to reach 5 checkpoints to win exclusive decorations. We get points by making pumpkin-related products to feed and grow the Grand Pumpkin. Unlike HD's previous d&d events, we just need to reach individual checkpoints and there's no global goal.

Released in August, Clone #2 has a Baron Samedi Event which began yesterday and will last for 14 days. If we complete the checklist of production tasks, we will get expansion materials. Like Clone #1, this event is for individual players and there's no global goal requirement.

I can't wait to participate in the special event Team Hay Day has planned for us. I hope it will be soon because the 2 clones have gotten a head start on you.

Per the Supercell CEO in a released statement, under the agreement with the new owner Tencent, Supercell "continues to be operationally independent, exactly as it was under Softbank's ownership."

In other words, if there are changes in Hay Day, they will be initiated not by Tencent but by Team Hay Day.

I think the 'creative team' has only one objective now and that is to create items to sell with diamond packages. This was clear from the very first offer on their birthday.

I doubt there will be much more to look forward to, as of late DIAMOND PACKAGE DECO seems to be their only concern.

I apologise if this has already been answered but I haven't been on the forum for a while.

Am am I correct in saying that Nick has said there is a big update coming soon?

Yeah, but 'soon' is such an open statement. Soon could be next month for all we know.

I, too, am growing very bored with this game. The idea that holidays come and go and there's literally NOTHING new is unforgiveable.

I used to play Farmville, and the reasons I stopped were (1) the animation really, really sucked and (2) the "new" farms they opened about every 3 months were nothing more than recycled everything with a new theme. However, what they got right was lots of events and TONS of decos. I had an entire farm dedicated to Christmas and another that was all Halloween. There were MUCH larger farms than we have here, and enough decos to completely layout the farm. A few ideas for SC: haunted houses, trick or treaters, vampires, goblins, werewolves, cobwebs, witches, cauldrons, cats with witch hats, a background that acutally LOOKS like Haloween, lots of themed crops - candy corn, black pumpkins, The list goes on and on. How about starting with a basic haunted house, and do an event that epands the house's creepiness instead of giving another 3 shovels or 2 land deeds. HOW ABOUT SOME THOUGHT GIVEN TO THE GAME!

I'm so bored with this game at this point the only thing that keeps me coming is the vast amount of money I've dropped into it. Before much longer, though, that may not be enough.
