It's unfortunate that we did not get any new Halloween decorations this year but I would like to stay positive and think that the Hay Day team is very busy at the moment working on the upcoming update! I love Hay Day and I can't imagine how much work is put into by the Hay Day team to make this game we all enjoy playing

    Hi Nick

As much as there is some quite big flaws in the game still, I DO love the game, i've been an avid Playstation gamer since the late 90's and this game has kept my attention more than any other game in my history ! However, the game has gotten very tedious for those of us that have been playing for 3yrs+ , with the amount of products that are available, the need for, either a second barn and dairy OR a way of actually producing/making upgrade materials to upgrade barn/silo would be very helpfull as there is very definatly a glitch with how the upgrade materials are dished out. Also ! could you PLEASE give, even a rough idea, when the update is due .

    Many thanks,

    chris

I too love the seasonal themes , however, it IS a shame that Not even 1 new thing was dropped in. Like teaser trailers for films, you know what i mean ! keeps us "oldtimers " intrequed lol. ps i love the game , so olny saying what i feel, also , they should make the wooden boards available to buy now, . I NEVER get them with the tickets or the wheel each day !

    I'm an old-timer and I'm still interested.

I really don't understand the need for something new all the time. There are 230 products, one more won't change anything. And while I have never understand the attraction of filling my farm with decorations, I'm pretty sure that I would see "just one more" as just one more amongst many.

What I enjoy about HayDay is my well-run farm and my pleasant neighbors. I don't need an update for that.

Well, not everyone likes to run their farm based on efficiency alone. Some people are insanely creative and know how to beautify their farms and having new decorations is hugely essential to their game. To them, that's probably just as important as having a well-run farm.

I don't understand why some people are so easily content. A game without newness gets stale, boring and will eventually die a slow death. Why would anyone not want something new to this game all the time?

Some of u folks need to spread ur wings and play other games. See how other developers tackle seasonal updates. SC has A LOT to learn.

This is where I sit too. I don't see a problem or lack in the rate that new things have been introduced, particularly themes and decor, as these items that don't change the gameplay. And too many new products or machines would invite problems with game balance, in my view. So I am glad Supercell hasn't gone with novelty for the sake of that. There was actually something new for Halloween, which was the fact that for the first time it was optional rather than a forced theme change.

While many like decorating and the themes, there are also good numbers who don't care for those aspects of the game. I am one such, the only decor item I have purchased over the last year was the wisteria tree and I am putting off Halloween update until right before event starts, so as not to risk missing out on an event even if the prizes are likely decor that shall never see the light of day.

I wouldn't like to get in the way of anyone else's pleasure at decorating, but surely we have a ton of different decor options to play with already? And who knows what the Halloween event might bring in terms of a new decor item?

I feel much the same. I enjoy the updates and a bit of decorating but I prefer a more relaxed style of playing. To each their own😀😀

    Yep. Life sucks.
80% of the focus is on COC and 20% is on HD
regardless of different teams or not.. Most effort and emphasis is put on COC
    thats just how bussiness works
HD needs to loose million of diamond buyers in order to bring in new things because in bussiness 'if it aint broken dont fix it'
so it needs to break first

I play Clash, and have just started looking at Hay Day. 😊 As I don't have a history with Hay Day, I just wanted to comment on your post from a Clash perspective. The funny thing is, the same complaints are on the Clash forums site. People complain that more effort and emphasis is being put into Clash Royale and that too many things from Clash Royale are being introduced into Clash. I don't know if Clash gets more attention, or if Clash Royale or if Hay Day does. Supercell says that each has its own development team, but what I can say is that the Hay Day forums are a lovely place to be. I understand that there are issues with the game and people are frustrated, but everyone is supportive and encouraging. Not sure if my post has anything to do with the topic being discussed hahaha, but I saw the comparison with Clash, and I just wanted to complement everyone here for maintaining such a lovely site. If Clash does indeed get more attention, Hay Day receives a lot of love.
