I need to know that things are gonna look up
'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup

When there is no place safe and no safe place to put my head
When you feel the world shake from the words that are said

    And I'm calling all angels
    I'm calling all you angels

I won't give up if you don't give up
I need a sign to let me know you're here
'Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me

Man, here I thought seeing the SC logo next to this thread meant Nick finally showed up and chimed in but it was only a Mod answering the title of this thread. Fascinating info. What a letdown.

Ponder this: deco diamond packages were rolled out assembly line style, in back to back months but yet, the effort to produce ONE new Halloween deco is nonexistent. Interesting.

I'm sorry I can't abide all this propaganda.

    Train is horrible.

I have never known a game be so unsupported by its moderators, it is almost impossible to get them to answer your question or query directly and actually answer the question you ask.

Can anyone shed light on why this may be - I love this game and have spent £'s on it, do not want to leave but so desperately want new updates. It was so upsetting to our hood when Nick said a few months back that he had no intention of expanding the land any more. Why on earth say that? - What possibly is the harm? - our farms are crushed up. Also for heavens sake give the higher level players (which are daily become more and more in number) something the use theirnuseless vouchers on.

Direct to the point answers please no waffle!!

Maybe the Ms are having a meeting with the Continuum. The almighty Continuum must not be defied.

Hey, maybe if we can get this thread to 200 replies, we'll have the blessed honor of having a true SC representative grace our presence.

No kidding! I have no incentive to fill boats or truck jewelry orders since I have no need of vouchers. On a related issue, I only do the minimum in events that offer double coins because I don't have any use for more of them.

Hay Day has a wide range of things for us to do, but there needs to be some incentive to do them beyond just joining the 1000 green voucher club. The resource management model makes so much sense and provides the basic challenge of the game (make do with our limited dairy supplies, Tom and his napping, one "rare" expansion material on each farm just to name a few), but the team has to keep the big picture in mind and keep all the different facets of the game evolving rather than appearing to invest the bulk of their creative energy in one thing. I'm not talking about multi-tasking. I'm talking about having some people working on keeping the "lights on" while others work on "the next big thing."

By "keeping the lights on" I mean...
    • Having seasonal changes arrive in a timely fashion without "glitches" like the infamous sheeps' antlers and now the bees' hats
    • Having events run smoothly without "glitches" like the wrong prize pictured in the log
    • Having the correct seasonal decor in the shops with timely notifications of when they will be disappearing

In my experience, when there are things that happen repeatedly in a business, there is someone with a checklist somewhere who makes sure that nothing is being forgotten. The stuff I've listed here isn't new programming, it's fill-in-the-blanks from a template.

We're actually pretty easily pleased with improvements to existing features. At least that shows that someone in Helsinki cares about us. We understand that things take time, and that sometimes the best ideas don't pan out and can't be implemented. However, the current "dry spell" has gone beyond secrecy. It's as if they don't know how to tell us that Hay Day is no longer being developed.
