I just got my Pekka to lvl 2💪💪and was wondering if there were certain army compositions for them ,😞😞
Would it be okay for a player to test them.out for trophy pushing ,or should he do something else .
And is Pekka an ideal troop as the October update gives a chance for them .😢😢
For a TH8 you will get much more success in war with dragons, in farming / trophy pushing you will likely do better with Giants and Barch strategies, Pekka is getting a minor buff which MAY help them out but they are still slow and out classed by other troops.. IMO valkery packs (you get 3 valks per pekka) will be much better, they do splash and hit harder together, (lvl 2 vs lvl 2 valk = 106x3 = 318 Pekka = 270 Damage per second.. HP wise pekka = 2800 vs 800x3 valk = 2400) so the valks have slightly less attack but move much faster and do more damage.. not to mention that a heal will be up to 3x more effective on the valkery pack than the pekka since its healing 3 units instead of one (so 3x the rate of healing if all are hurt by splash..) you could argue too the valks are weaker to splash and ur right, tats why giants are used to tank for them.. pekkas will fall behind the main attack force and wont tank well either,Originally Posted by INTEDRAG
TBH even without the extra damage from tesla towers pekka wont be able to keep up with other strategies at any TH IMO

Pekkas r useless...wonder why they r still in the game they should b removed from game.
I finished my th8 in 4 to 5 months but never used pekka...not for loot, for wars, or for pushing.
Sadly....u will have to dump ur extra elixir on them atlast of th8 and make them lvl 3. If walls could have been done with elixir i would have never researched pekka.
Moreover i used GIWi for loot all times and for wars i did started with GOHO and later Govaho...and see now these strategies r helping me in th9. Thank God i didn't wasted my time in silly gowipes....learning how to 2 star.
Thats not true, pekkas is great! When I was th 8 I used 2 golems, 3 pekkas 18 wiz and a few wallbreakers+a heal spell and 2 rage spells
Did u managed to 3 star everytime in war with that composition....i doubt that. My clan mates also use that in wars and to get 3 stars they just need to pray after deploying all troops
i suggest to use GoWipe.its the best attack strategy for th8 not only farming but also war,trophy pushing.
dont listen to the people pushing gowipe. it's a seriously outdated attack, it's what your grandpa used back in the day. if you're a th8, do govaho. it'll give you the best, most consistent results. even with them removing the extra tesla damage to pekkas, goho is still a stronger technique (if you dont agree, just watch as your gowipe repeatedly 2 stars because the last of your troops get stuck behind some black walls while an arch tower shreds your last few troops. while on the other hand, my hogs will be jumping walls and cleaning bases)
For loot I use pekka''s with barch, Send hero and pekka and then barch....
2 stars are ok with me. When I trophy push, I usually look for 2 star attacks because it is unlikely I will be able to 3 star a good th9 when trophy pushing.
