Hey everyone, I would love some advices from you. I am trying to get the barb king at th7 and alot of my friends said at 1600+ trophies you can easily get from the lightning spell...
So here's my base and what I will get before doing it:
-All pink walls
-all lvl 7 arch tower
-currently have lvl7-8cannons)
200 troops (190/200)
-i currently can make healer and not dragons.
-my teslas are 1
-mortar lvl 4 or 5 not sure what i have and i got wizard tower lvl 3

all my troops except mages baloon minions and healer are lvl 4,

The higher your trophy range is the more DE you'll encounter. And at higher amounts obviously.

I didn't get your question perfectly, you're asking if using Lightning spells on DE storages/pumps works?
Because if that's the case, yeah it works. But lets say you use 3 LS on a 2k DE storage, I guess if you drop the spells right (experience needed), you'll probably get about 450~600 DE per raid. (considering you have a level 4 lighting spell)

A personal suggestoion from me is, look for bases that keep their DE outside the walls/at corners. I myself raided over 1.5k/2k DE at certain bases in each raid... But it's not a common finding, just so you'll know.

I made it to gold 2 and got my bk in more or less 3 days.

If you want to use lightning spells don't forget to use barbarians as meat shield to cover archers that go for the de pumps after you use the spells.

ok, i just found 300 uncovered DE storage so its great. I will push troph.. question is, do i need a trophy base? because the one im using atm is good and im online alot so people cant rly attack me.

And if i let my th in the corner it would do a free shield for my storages

go to <150 trophies many farmers out there they attack u with one archer u revenge with two lightning spells on their de storage without fearing revenge with lvl 6 troops i got the burger king in two days with this strategy

already tried but didnt worked, too hard to stay low as this. if u revenge they cant revenge on u btw

You do not need a trophy base to keep your trophies up or even rising - you just need to raid enough, in big blocks, winning most of your raids if you are pushing up, or at least winning a star or two enough if you are maintaining. Also, you need your Town Hall to be easily visible - I'm looking at your base, and do not see it, which means it's way in a corner? Attackers can often not check the corners, miss the fact your TH is an easy take, and move on or smash the rest of your base... you need your TH somewhere really obvious - towards the bottom right is best, in my experience, but not right in the corner. You want every raider to see your TH straight away, without looking around your base, to maximise the chances of a trophy hunter picking it off and moving on.

I had a farming base at TH7, and got to about 1800 trophies in search of DE. I changed to a trophy base at TH8, but not to gain trophies, as actually I pretty much get 1-2 starred every raid anyway (currently, around 2000 trophies). And I got by BK to level 9 without even really hunting DE, just by raiding at higher trophies where it just naturally flows in...

Lastly, I think 3 ligntning spells for DE is not just kinda lame (lighting peoples DE stores will, often, cause them to revenge you with a really big army), it's also inflexible. I'd pack 1 lightning, 1 heal, and 1 rage, for greater flexibility... If you find a really juicy DE store in a weak TH9 or TH10, you can often break in and get your goblins at it, so the heal or rage can help them live long enough to get not just hundreds, but thousands.

Lately I've seen some players around level 35-40 who are in crystal league. I just sit there and wonder, why cant I find them ;)

I got my Burger King from lightning revenging people in sub 200...it was pretty easy to get it..so i dont think you have to push to get your de.
