Ineligible for War: Link back to the clan where you're in war
Over the weekend I was doing some clan hopping (the reason shouldn't matter, I know people hate hoppers, so hopefully responses don't get hung up on this), and even though I was set to "I'm Out" for wars, some clan put me in their war and I didn't notice.
Now I'm ineligible and I have no clue where my war is. I would like to do the right thing by going back to that clan to attack since I can't war with my primary clan. What would be nice is if somewhere my profile provided a link back to that clan where I'm in war rather than just telling me I'm ineligible. This doesn't need to be public info - just make it visible to me.
I'm sure you've all been in a situation where someone leaves your war without attacking. Perhaps that person would be more likely to come back if there was an easier way to get back. Normally what I do, as long as they aren't in another clan, I can invite them back. But since there is no message or context to why I'm inviting them, my invite just looks like another random invite. Therefore, alternatively, perhaps the invite could contain a message such as, "You're in our war, come back and attack!". A customizable message could be abused with verbal attacks, so it could be a hardcoded message that is automatically used solely in the case where you are inviting a defecting war member to come back.
Agreed. I've seen threads from other players who have been in the same predicament. It makes sense to allow an option to view the clan where you're currently in war so you can request to return.
A couple good solutions to the problem. I don't mind hoppers as long as they don't leave during war before attacking. How do we find a good clan if we can't hop w/o leaving a war we didn't intend to join?
