Engineered clan again !!

we just beat probably the biggest engineered clan I have ever seen in the 2+ yrs I've been playing, it was a 30v30 war and their bottom was a defenseless TH11 with max war troops and 20/20/15 heros
We did manage to beat them like I said, with attacking skill and well defended bases, which obviously they did not all have, the war result was 82-77.

I don't agree with saying no to any sort of engineering, because in one way or another when you first go from TH to TH it's a matter of engineering your base so that you can slowly adapt to your "new" level. Having said that, I do agree with what SC has referred to as "lopsided bases" such as the example I gave above. This to me needs to be dealt with somehow, not sure how they will do it, but to have a TH11 as your number 30 mirrored against a TH8 is not right and has the potential to take the fun out of the game for sure.

i think engineering should be a part of the game ( it is a strategy game after all) but its advantage should be limited so that engineers still have to be skilled to win. though there arent many of these, some extreme engineers oftenw in before they start. i own a pretty nicely engineered clan but we dont run into easy matchups (becaue we arent that engineered but we have a few sprinkled in).

i think the Th should have a mininum weight of the new townhall below it. that imo is the most fair solution

I barely do, but occasuonally when people throw around to much anti engineering bias or insults i get sucked back in. Expecially since it seams the mob without missing a beat stepped onto .5 bases. Things got better because the anti engineers won and stopped there capaign of crying and insults, and even after winning, they back still complaining on the forum, and insulting.

How did we win?Was there ninja update to mm that we all didn't see?

Creating a rant thread is faster that way. The chickens will cry either way and try to defend their "smart play" strategy.

point is, most of these threads dont have proof and im dubious they are as stated in their OP.

but your right, i should just discard this thread as a disgruntled clasher who needs an excuse to lose until I see some actual evidence.

supercell insulted engineered bases that have pumped fat cash into their coffers by calling them lopsided, then declares they will nerf them, possible this update or the next won. If you guys didnt win please enligheten me so i can pour myself a big glass of whiskey.

Apparently, the engineered clan was just a psychological disadvantage to good clashers like you who know how to attack and to upgrade, and dont use mirror attacking.

really, i think the only absolute advantage engineered bases have are the psychological advantage to weaker players

I am keeping this post short as possible. Its 5th time we faced engineered clan and we lost. This thing is really ruining the game experience for me and the most player who wants to play the normal game. I know this post will be replied by engineered players saying ♥♥♥♥ like its smart strategy and engineered clans are smart blah blah blah, if you can beat them join them, etc. I don't care. I just wanna play a normal game.

Expect a fix for engineer bases in upcoming October update.

There are typically 3 reasons for facing a lot of engineered clans:

1. you are heavily engineered yourself
2. you are winning too much so you're running into other clans with an excellent recent war win ratio
3. you have an imbalanced clan war roster; ie, you're putting a bunch of th3 at the bottom to balance out your max th9's/10's on top

I'm guessing the answer isn't #2, or you wouldn't be on here complaining about it. Perhaps not though, post up your clan id and let me come take a look at your most recent loss to an engineering clan.

fyi, my clan just ran into an engineered clan, likely because we have won 9/10 wars. Most of our 9's have heroes upgrading so in this war we have one mid th9, one max th8, and 6 mid to low th8, then a bunch of 7's and 6's. Enemy clan has a similar base split, but they have an extra th9 at #12 and another th9 at #17. So, 3 th9 against one th9 in war. Looks pretty unfair on paper, right? Their mid th9 on top is a bit better than ours, but not much. He screwed up his attack on our 1 and got a 60% 1*, and their other th9's are just set up to beat down opponent 8's with dragons and double zap quake. So they're probably going to lose the war now. Instead of coming here on the forums to cry about things my clan went to work to go get our stars and put our 1 in the position to put us over the top, I suggest that you do the same in your wars.
