Not sure if your suggestion would not over balance her again tbh.
I could see ppl taking 6 or 7 healers to keep her alive.
I still QW now... I've just condensed the length of the walk... before, I was confident of taking a side of a base... then have her meet up with my main army... now, after the recent update, I off set her on a corner and walk half a side, bringing my main force in sooner to tank.
The recent update also affected my bowler attacks but not every time... sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you don't. Depends on the SAM placement.
Just means fresh hits in war are very risky using either strat... but on 2nd hits when someone has either scouted or attacked and semi-failed, you can do it... usually.

I actually started using QW after the nerf and not having much issue honesty. This is a weak queen attacking th10s. Usually core dive with valks and clean outside with QW.
The "most" will never catch up (half of them still have their town halls outside) and it doesn't make that much of a difference either way even when a base is adjusted, it's not like you can stack up air mines all on one side, only a 25% chance at best of them coming from there lol and if it's just dispersing them one on each side of the base... It's really no big deal, not gonna make or break a raid
