Leaders able to opt out members

Just in case they aren't able to (for convenience) or maybe even as a punishment (meh...)

My little brother has pneumonia so it's probably best if he doesn't war but he didn't opt out before he went to hospital. And now we're stuck with a th8 that can't attack. So it would probably be better if he had a red shield next to his name.

Or maybe I can remotely opt his account out through in game support?

Leaders can pick and choose who they want in a war when they do a war search already.

This is already in the game on a war by war basis. More permanent changes are not authorized but that has been requested many times.

On a side note - unless this TH8 is on your top two bases, any war should be able to compensate for 1 TH that does not attack. Technically, half the people in war could not attack and you *could* get all the stars. Unlikely but possible. Point is, one person should make a difference.

In fact, we often opt in up to 3 people that wont attacks and rarely do we need them.

This isn't necessary, just know who not to put in war

Exactly the sort of thing we have been asking for. Not every story needs a kid with pneumonia. Leader should be able to change someone's war status short of kicking the account out. But not co-leaders, too much potential for trouble for a fairly rare need.

Get your leader to contact supercell in game and keep asking until they do it. It might get their attention.

This is such a frustrating common suggestion. It assumes a small clan with a single leader across the details. What if the clan is large? What if the leader is not up to date? What if Co-Leaders sometimes start wars?

Of course it is not "necessary", but it is still wanted.

Sure, but a non participating player in the top 10 can hurt; in the top 5 can really hurt.

Definitely the higher up the more it hurts. But realistically anything from #3 and lower can be compensated for easily.

We are an adult clan with lots of workers, who don't get the time to run to coc when something sudden comes up. So That's exactly what we do: we kick anD senD an invite. If a co notices another co with a dead Base, he informs the leader who kicks him. Gets back his rank when he returns and is active again.
