Addition of 4th mortar throws off placements in my earlier designs but you can just rearrange to rebalance it.

Of course, placements will always vary depending on what you have upgrading.

This is a base I'd recommend for earlier stages of TH9 when you have a lot of important defenses upgrading. It is highly segmented but offers little space inside.

TH8 - Farming

Great segmentation but will have to sacrifice the nice gold placement currently going on when DE storage gets past 20k+. The DE storage and the elixir storage beside it should be swapped for better balance.

TH8 - Hybrid

Clashers: For those that don't know jen, she is a long time former and supporter of our base design threads. She literally went from zero to hero as far as her skills in recognizing weak points to help others with their designs as well as creating her own.

Heh, Daddy and childish, remember when I first joined the forums and sent out that PM to a bunch of you guys asking which design to use and everyone said neither of them? Def come a long way since then..

TH9 designs could use some more DE protection. Crossing-over Wiz splash damage is good against blitz attacks on the east and west corners of the base so it doesn't get penetrated easily by DE hunters like me. You can solve this by moving the Wiz towers closer to each other for a crossfire. (Elixir is useless mid-close end TH9, so you can put those outside later). Other than that, it looks A'OK.
