What is with the "Contests" forum - Submit your contest idea!

My new Hay Day hobby is the forums. I started in General and I am getting to know the others. I just checked out the "Contests" and see it is, well... pretty dead! Why is it still there?

We used to run some competitions on the forums as well, but the amount of entries made it super difficult to handle. The forums are not build for such. So, we just didn't run them anymore. We are looking into reviving that section soon, so hold on tight!

We have always ran competitions on Facebook. We then started also to run separately contests on the forums as well, but as I explained above, the forums are not built for such usage.

Like Nick said we are looking into reviving that section and have some ideas for contests to have. Nothing we can share yet at this point of course.

However we'd also love to see some input from the community so bring on those contest ideas!
What kind of contests would you guys like to see and would you want to participate in ?

A few things to consider.
A contest needs to be suitable for the forum, meaning you will always see previous replies.
Ergo solve this math problem 2+2 = ? Isn't a good contest idea as people would see previous answers and just copy from there.

The contest needs to have some relation / connection to Hay Day.

What am I to do with that ? What am I to make of that ? What does it mean ?
Are there no ideas ? Are they still thinking about it ? Was the thread missed ? Or do they not like contests and are they not interested ?

Prizes

First one with right answer or closest to the right answer.: 100 diamonds and 30 bolts.

Second one with right answer or closest to the right answer. : 50 diamonds and 20 tapes.

Third one with right answer or closest to the right answer : 25 diamonds and 10 planks.

It is not easy, really... If everyone can see everyone's answer, there can be no winner for most things. I am still stuck in think mode.

1st, 2nd, 3rd with the right answer does not work either, because we are all in different time zones

Not too long ago, I accidentally landed in a signature-making contest in the Clash Royale forums.

Shockingly, it didn't win.

Maybe Hay Day could have similar image-editing competitions.

Or you could post a funny/cute/interesting image and ask for captions. Caption contests are as endemic to the Internet as cat pics. They're everywhere, but - from what I can tell - they're still pretty popular.

That's where something art related is perfect, as music play suggested.

Could also do a farm design contest, such as most creative design farm or town design too. I've seen some awesome ones in my time, would be nice if the game could have a contest to reward such beautiful farms.
