A little venting

In my last topic, that too ashamed to link to, things have gone downhill fast cos the said attack just happened (got hit by someone 704 cups above me, with me being in Master 2 and him in Champions 2) was the last drop in a series of attacks that filled the glass.

Right of the start I want to be clear that I did not, nor ever will care about the amount of cups nor resources I lost or loose because I get it that is a game and the winning and loosing cups and resources is part of the process.

What actually bothered me was the way the system favors the people in higher leagues by giving them offers up to 1000 cups below theirs. This and this alone is what bothered me. A couple of people that responded either mocked me by ignoring the above clear statement, and based on their comment something between the lines "you didn't loose much" or "it's just 4 cups, stop crying" and so on left me with the impression that they seem to have some sort of mental challenge, so asked them in a rough way if that's the case. After thinking about this, I realized that was a mistake to ask such a thing on a internet forum and should have considered it to be a case of trolling and not bother replying to any of them.

In case someone missed it I will say it again: the problem (and what bothered me) is the fact that some players that happen to be in higher leagues (Champions 2 and above from what I saw from 2 accounts) get some preferential treatment just to deal with a problem Supercell should address in a different way, one that doesn't allow one player to go as much as 1000 cups below his cups cos he's in a range where offers are scarce, and another player that can't hit anything 200 cups above him cos the offers are many so the system would rather offer him something withing a 100-200 cups range up or down.

I honestly don't have anything against anyone, but if you would imagine for a few minutes being in the same shoes as me and in your very rare times when you get the mood required to hit that attack button would see players mostly from the same region that also attack you don't tell me you won't get annoyed about this and start developing some sort of dislike towards them. Given enough time would reach a level of hate, but only in game.

To add insult to the injury, most of the time they seem to be online 24/7 when you try to revenge, don't offer enough resources worth attacking when you hit next button, but when you are at the other end of the gun you sure offer good or at least decent amount of loot every single time thus making you worth attacking.

just the higher you go, the less players up top there is to find. So naturally it starts matching downwards.

I play, or used to play, on two accounts, a TH 11 and a TH 9. While I got used with my TH 11 account getting hit by someone 5-600 cups above me sitting in Champions 2 and would normally ♥♥♥♥ me off and be cool about it a few seconds later, I found the fact that I got hit by a Champions 2 player with me (TH 9 account) sitting in Masters 2 at only 704 cups below was the last drop that filled the glass.

Like i said, i get it it's a game and winning/loosing cups and resources is part of the process, but the fact that the matchmaking allows someone 1000 cups above to find you is something i don't really appreciate, and this is not cos of my lack of dedicating more time to the game, but a thing out of principle. I get it that this was meant to partially solve the clouds in higher leagues, but c'mon, cut me some slack.

Should I consider going in Gold 3 league or something so people won't benefit from this unfair "up to 1000 cups below" advantage over me? When you are at the shooting end of the gun things seem find and dandy, but as soon as you are at the other end things don't seem so nice, don't they?

@Polaris : If a moderator will find it fit to award me with another penalty point and close this thread like happened with last one just for sharing a piece of my mind in a lot nicer way, then I'm fine with that.

@cleggy : actually it dose. It helps you get a small amount of cups, recover some of the gold you spent nexting and sure helps getting stuff done cos of the league bonus. Don't tell me you would rather hit some stronger opponent with let's say for the sake of the argument 20-30% chance to get the 1 or 2 stars with a base 700 cups under you with chances to guarantee 3 stars cos it's a lot weaker (not my case).

Edit: Btw, the guy that attacked me is also a TH 9. If I would ever be given the chance to revenge him or anyone else for that matter would be more than happy to do it, but I'm more than confident the attack will reach the end of the log and get kicked from there as will never ever find him online to actually revenge.

Why does league even matter. If someone from Champs hits me (crystal 1) for 4 trophies, i'd laugh and say thanks for the shield.

Ive sat in champs previously and tbh if I saw someone with loot it didn't matter which league they were in, i was going to hit them.

Yes the MM is skewed but it sounds like they nexted a hell of a lot to draw such a low down opponent

Quite honestly you are the only one I have ever seen really have this much of an issue with it....I've been attacked by 1200 trophy differentials and quite honestly it has never bothered me. When the matchmaking change first happened I had a th9 in champs 3 and basically past the first 10 nexts the trophy difference started climbing higher and higher. It's all dependent on how many like town halls there are within that range....however flawed just think if the reverted the matchmaking change, you'd get buried under a mound of max 10 or 11 bases every next like it used to be.

OP try to consider things from the attackers POV.

Long time searching, lots of clouds, lower cups won etc etc.

Also lets not forget that the opposite of your scenario happens seemingly just as often. A M1 player finds a high Champ 1 or 2 player and takes 58 or so cups. I find this a much more egregious error.

So please stop the crying.

And for what it's worth your rant about BrExit and Asains sounds racist, even when not in context. You should probably drop that bit all together.
