A mano a mano is a pretty much when two well known forumers find each other, and engage in battle. Now its just when someone from a certain clan finds someone else from another forum clan. The pekkachu did a guide on one I believe.

It's usually considered a mano y mano if the defender is from a well-known clan or is a well-known person.
