    Tool stockpile

Our group have a stockpile for upgrade tools. Whenever members have extras they donate to this stockpile (its stored by the coleaders and myself). Then when another member is close to an upgrade they ask for what they are short of and our stockpile helps them finish upgrade. Its a great system and has worked very well for our group Trollers Clan. Most of our members have fully opened land town and fishing spots.

Obviously there have been issues with walkin newbies who have been total gimme gimme gimmes, but in time these undesirables have been removed.

I just wanted to let people know about this system incase they want to try to do it too, it will help your group advance quicker.

I have heard of stories where members who had others' upgrade items bounce. It's a great system if it works but it can also be quite damaging if it doesn't.

We have in the past booted needy/greedies who tried to take advantage of our system who were gimme gimme GIMMES and never donated back. With any group you over time need to weed out players who take the biscuit. Our members know we play fair and only in extreme circumstances have we booted people. I'm the leader of our group and between myself and coleaders we successfully control the group stockpile and hand out to members verging on an upgrade.

Good policy if everyone plays along, but of course risk is some won't especially with newer members coming in.

I try stick to direct exchange between just one other person when it comes to premium items to keep things fair.

For the middle range stuff, like town, land expansion and the middle range foods I'll happily run with the system of putting them up and letting the hood raid away.
