Well done you are lucky indeed, haven't seen diamonds in the water chests for months, I must admit I don't bother with chests as much as I used to. I don't like to accidentally use diamonds to open chests, but water ones I click quite often.
I recently got 8 diamonds from the water chest. Maybe this means SC is going to put some focus on The Town!
I got 8 diamonds in a water chest today, on a hoodie's farm.
Perhaps we've all got lucky!

I have gotten into the habit of swiping right to find the floating chests. Most of the times, I get a BEM, LEM, and SEM. One more reason to play The Town daily.

I recently found an 8 Diamond package in a neighbours town also, my jaw hit the flaw! Was very happy.
Edit: Like Lynn I always make a point of looking for these chests on my and also my neighbours towns when looking to pick up visitors.
Generally I get about 2 chests per day I can open for free on both my and others farms, morning & night. Must be a counter in the game that allows you to open one for free after 'x' hours.
I love the town, my favorite part of the game, most of my products get consumed here.

I wonder how it works. I notice the first one of the day is almost always open. Then there are days when they just keep on coming and many of them are open (I found money three times the other day!), and other days when most of them are locked.
