Concern for the loss of Game Center app with ios10's release

Hey NICK

Please step to the podium here and address our very valid concerns about GAMECENTER. They are very valid concerns for your players. I have read the threads. I have read the very few responses from anyone in "authority" at ♥♥♥♥♥♥cell and I am ashamed for you all at headquarters.

I have the following concerns:
I can't add players
I can't get requests
I can not see pics
My friends bar loads whenever it feels like it
We are being abandoned by a company many of us have supported and loved for 4+ years

I have done the following:
Closed all apps
Shut power down on iPad/phone
Logged in and out of GC and hayday (several times) varying between being logged in at power down and not logged in at power down.

Forum goers please post your valid concerns for ♥♥♥♥♥♥cell here. Perhaps NICK will come on over when he is back at headquarters.

I have tried all the same steps many times and have the same concerns. There does not seem to be much else to try. Please help SC.

What a bloody nightmare 😡😡😡😡

Ive hardly played HD since all the avatars disappeared yesterday , it's hurting my eyes with all the sqinting I'm having to do , trying to read who's who 😡.

Im guessing that adding friends stopped the same time as our avatars disappeared Gymgirl , as you & Handy didn't receive the two I sent on Friday 😢.

I've just been reading that iOS 10 is launching on Tuesday 13th ( in the UK) , so I'm hoping & 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Our avatars will return then ..... Worse scenario .... We have to download iOS 10 to get them back 😬.

But what pees me off more than anything ..... Why has Greg still got his avatar !! 🤔😜😜😜.

Joking aside .... I'm absolutely discussed in SC ( and that the 1st time I've made this statement in 4 yrs of playing HD) in the lack of communication with is customers !!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡.... Yes I'm aware it's Apple that is changing & revamping GC , but SC also have a responsibility to keep us informed of these changes . How many times have we been told by SC to link our farm to GC so everything is safely saved .

I agree with Connemara.

But I have a solution. On another device, I was able to set up a Facebook account just to play Hay Day. It doesn't contain any of my personal information that I don't want people to know, so basically it just has my name. If Hay Day would change the rules and allow us to convert our games just one time to a new Facebook account, set up like I did, it would help resolve the problem.

Nick, it's now in your ball court to suggest to tech-support a viable solution. I think this one might resolve everyone's problems, as it was very easy for me to do without giving up my personal information.

Downloading iOS 10 will then see GC disappear☹️ so who knows what will happen with avatars. I am not happy about using the new system to add friends either☹️☹️ and I do not use facebook in any form.

Because if SuperCell don't offer an alternative; players will quit costing them revenue.

That makes it SuperCells problem.

Apple already washed their hands of GC, provided a kit for their developers to adapt, so now the responsibility falls directly on SC.
SC should know exactly what's going on and they probably do. But instead we have a community manager giving us "don't know, let me check with the team" answers. This is by far, the biggest obstacle SC will ever encounter. Bigger than bots, screwy updates, etc. Give us some concrete answers...that's the least they can do, that's all some of us really want.

Which comes littered with privacy concerns and inability to remove real inactive friends.

And because SC built a game that relies on GC to add friends and store our games safely, because Apple told them of these changes months ago and SC just rolled over and did nothing, they didn't stand up and say "Wait a moment, our revenue depends on GC", they just accepted what was going to happen and DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO WARN US, let alone implement something to prevent the problem we now have. That is why it is SC's problem!
