SC explored a 3:30 attack time for a 6 month period a little while ago. I am not totally sure why they went back to the 3:00 time but I knew of no one that complained about the extra 30 seconds. Most times you dont need the extra 30 seconds but when you do it was great.
I would like to see then offer some extended time scenario. Like - If you have taken down all defensive structures, you get an extra X seconds to help with clean up. Not unlimited, just a little extra. Rather frustrating to have that 99% 2 star as your troops approach the last tower when the time expires.
