    Clean up!

In visiting and helping out on other farms, I've noticed most all of us have extra dead trees and nectar bushes. I think it would be great if there was a "clean up day" where the Hay Day Gods go in and magically get rid of all the dead stuff for us!

    Welcome to the forums!

That would be magical indeed but I don't think everyone would equally appreciate it. Many farms also use dead trees and especially nectar bushes as decoration. Usually you see even more of them around Halloween time.

I certainly wouldn't like this. It is a reward for bad farming.

    And.... my farm at Halloween:

I wouldn't like it because most of my apparently dead trees and bushes are waiting to be watered by neighbors with Derby help tasks

and I do like me a creepy cherry tree forest come Halloween time

I have a neighbor that just keeps extending her "dead tree zone" out till it about covers 1/3 of her farm. Then one day it's all gone and new stuff is planted. She must hire Tom and collect cutting tools.

PS : I love the way the peach trees wave their branches when the are flagged. Reminds me of those sky dancing air inflatables.

I also have a neighbor that seems to enjoy collecting dead trees.

And on a different note, I can sit on trees needing water for extended periods to help with hood help tasks.

I would not want the game to provide a sweeping cleanup, I have more than enough Saws & Axes for my needs.

The real problem I think is self control, some players just cannot help themselves and simply plant and harvest more trees/bushes than their Saws & Axes can sustain.

And well, there is always Tom too.

I especially love the orange tree for this. I'm very excited about new Halloween decorating with the new trees and hopefully some new super spooky deco. I can't wait!!

Hi Pensim, I like the BIG-ness of your idea. The grand scope of it. Nice thinking.

Riffing off your magical idea, it might be fun if there were a rare magic tool - "Gregory's Saw" or something like that - that would enable farmers to cut down every dead tree or plant on their farm with a single one-time use. Maybe this could be a gift card or derby prize. It'd be fun for players to go fruit-harvest-crazy, then be able to get rid of all evidence of their frenzy in one fell swoop.

Ideally, this hypothetical tool would still give us all due "rewards" like XP and bonus drops.
