I found a thief who stole 30 of my stuff and lots of rare food everyone be careful, the name of thia thief is

this guy keep taking food from my shop when I'm transferring them to my other farm, first I thought maybe he take them by mistake, but suddenly I find out out that he keep taking all my stuff, now He steal 30 axe from my shop, I message him and ask him nicely, to give them back, but he is online and the thief is not replying my message, if this thief on your list then remove him right now,

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with what is happening. The forum has a 'no naming and shaming' rule, though, so I'd suggest that you edit your post to remove the person's name.

The word "thief" is a strong one for someone who is simply doing what we all do - buying from a shop.

Is he on your followers' list? If so, you can remove him by holding down the icon on the list until it turns red and then tap the x. If you have helped him in the past you will be on his last helpers list. You can do nothing to remove yourself from that list, but you will be on there for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Anything you sell in your roadside stall is fair game. As trading items is not an official feature; rather something we players created.

As stated above, if you are looking to exchange items you have to take every possible precaution to avoid any outsiders purchasing them.

1) Most obvious, don't exchange items when you have an active ad; and at least 2 minutes have passed since your last ad ended.
2) Remove followers, the less that see your shop the better.
3) Review your friends list; make sure the only friends there will respect the trading process.
4) Only help respected friends and hoodies; no one else. This is a more extreme measure; but will give you extra protection as you won't end up in random players last helpers lists for 2 weeks.

the guy who stole from my shop, he was my facebook friend, when I was transferring stuff to my small farm I change my farm name in to " don't buy from shop" so no one buy anything from my shop but he keep taking foods, first I thought maybe he take them by mistake, but suddenly he took 30 of my axes when I'm sending those axe to my small farm,
I gave him message in facebook, but he didn't answer it after saw the message, I just want to wanr everyone about this guy that's why I write his name, after few hours he removed me from his facebook friend list, please help me, I can't find out the option for make report in game>game setting> help and feedback.

He has done nothing that warrants reporting. He did not steal, he purchased. He is not a thief, he is rather someone who does not agree to follow your preferences for the disposal of the contents of your shop. As Dazz says, if you put it there then it's fair game for anyone who can access the shop.

I'm sorry this happened to you. If you are transferring things between farms, presumably between two devices, you have to be ready to snap up the items with your other farm, so that they're only in the shop for a few seconds. I agree that he's not a thief - maybe he didn't even see that you had changed your farm name. It doesn't always come up straight away when someone changes their farm name. I find I have to close down the game and reload it sometimes to see other farms' new names. So I think it's possible that he didn't see your "don't buy" name. And then he probably used the axes.

Sometimes after reading some of these threads, I'm scared to buy from anyone lest I do the wrong thing! So many unwritten rules, so many ways to cause offense (inadvertently).

For what it's worth, I respect people trading in the last shop, and my preference is to leave items in the the last box alone because of that. But if there's something important there, like blankets, then I'll count to 10 and if it's still there I will buy them. Also, when running through all the neighbors I'm on autopilot: I'll click on those blankets before realizing it's the last box. On one hand, oops, I'm sorry. On the other hand, that's how the game works. And it's not like you're unable to put real food on the real table to feed your real kids because of this.

As for changing your shop name: Imagine if during a soccer game the goalkeeper hangs a sign on the goal that says "Stopping to tie my shoe, please don't attempt goals right now".

LOL at the name reference, I personally think that makes it worse. If I find someone in the paper called "don't buy last box" I check what is in the last box; every, single, time. Don't draw attention to the fact your trading.

A giant flashing neon sign, pretty much. Not everyone would buy whatever it is, but I bet nearly everyone would go take a look to see what it is!

I am tempted to rename my farm "don't buy tofu dogs 3rd box", to see if sales pick up.
