Just suppose you tell us how you are going to break the "1 wall" on each side to get to the gold? The Wall Breaker AI keeps them away from the buffer walls. The same is true for any other troop.
    1) destroy unguarded buildings near and included laboratory.
    2) drop wallbreaker somewhere in beween laboratory and collector to the south. The goal is to break the wall that laboratory is touching.
    3) Funnel archers there.

Gosh, that strategy will work with just about any TH7 base.....what a revelation!

Of course 2 mortars, 2 Archer Towers, etc., won't have any effect on those Archers....

LOVE the detailed write-up. Building placement and segmentation are well-done. Definitely one of the better TH7 designs. I do have a couple of suggestions that could possibly improve its efficiency.

    1. In my opinion, a separate compartment for each Air Defense is a bit redundant. Use the walls highlighted in white to provide some additional coverage on the blue line for your mortars. Might not be as symmetrical nor artistic as you were going though.

    2. Swapping the AT's to the indicated area will provide a more symmetrical Point-Defense/Air-Defense spread for your design.

Fantastic base. I agree with ping as he is awesome , but I use this design slightly modified until I finish my last barracks. Only 1 more to go on my little account! Nice design, hope to see a th9 farming base by you for my th9 account. Thanks for all of the detail, pretty awesome!

In regards to the wall movement, that would require they move the wt 1 square away from the mortars, which would leave no room for the teslas. So... Where do the teslas go?

I had use a couple of design for TH7 most of the time i tweet it to my own preference.
I shifted some walls & swapped the AT & cannon just like what pingfao pointed out.
& also the walls for more coverage for the mortar.

The additional wall removed the from the center (diving CC & DE) can use to extend where to put the tesla.
i also had try to shift the CC more centralized without the center wall.

So far this design is my fav of all I had used!
Nice design Phil! Hope u have new design for Th8.

this base is amazing!!! i have been using it for more than a month and a half and ive only been 3starred once by a town hall 10...it works exceptionally well and the traps are brilliantly placed....
Many players say at town hall7 , farming is the way to go, and using this base is one of the greatest decisions u will make in the game

sharing the the tweeted version of mine, I thought with a pict it clearer to indicate what I changed.
the placement of the WT is for coverage for DE, as u can see i just upgraded my BK, also just maxing my walls hence the low resources.

when I was upgrading the AD i just swap it with the CC & even with one AD i never gotten 100%
& only losing much resources only to level5 troops.

In order to implement the idea presented by Pingfao, I came up with with this. So far working great for me. Any feedback would be highly appreciated
