the strategy i use now is giant healer. usually i use 2 healers 13 giants and around 30 archers it works well
the only problem is i run out of time and only get like 1 star or maybe 2 i think the problem is that i dont have enough archers and dont know how to fix it. any suggestions? thx in advance

If you are town hall 7 that means you can use a rage spell - that can make a huge difference.
Otherwise/Also take a few wall-breakers so your giants don't get stuck on walls, they are a huge time killer.
What town hall level is are you?
Maybe use fewer giants and only 1 healer to take out defenses, throw in a couple breakers like the previous guy said, and some barbs and archers to clear everything else. I'm th8 and using just barbs and archers for farming but I'm 3-starring bases left and right without even trying. But I've got 200 troops, don't know what you're running with.
i will start using some wall breakers now btw im TH 6
Add 4-8 wizards to add dps behind the giants. I usually make them while looking for a raid so it doesn't slow me down too much.

You need DPS. Upgrade your army camps if they aren't all level 6. Get some Wizards by reducing the giants to 8.
use more tier 1 troops ( with archers take goblins, they are fast)
I think that at TH6 max out army camp is level 5.
Try to not waste time on preparation like pulling out castle troops. Gig+heal tactic is pretty slow and you need every second. Kill castle troops with lightning or 1-2 mages.
Spawn DPS wisely, hold some archers to help your giants with def buildings at base edges.
Hold major archers spawn until giants go deep enough to avoid their death from mortars/mage towers.
Have small group of goblins to quickly finish storages when most of base is cleared.
And yes, upgrade archers and camps asap
