Casual, friendly and drama free clan looking to merge.

As many others we are also struggling to recruit new members.

We are a decent lvl.8 war clan using 3 star strategies. Currently 28 members. We want the occasional big wars and see no other way but to cooperate with other clans.

We have tried merging before with little success. The reason mainly being difference in ambition and culture.

We Are casual and friendly. We don't harass our members if they don't 3 star consistently. We do however try helping those who want to improve.

The most important part is that you share our in game values.

A solution can be helping each other out on a weekly basis. Sort of a partnership to get the occasional big war once a week.

War Lords has been abandoned and we can give you the clan and you can elect as many Co's and elders you want as it will be run by you. in light Patrol we are a serious war clan and we have 2 other clans that are level 10 and 11. Well it looks like a lot of clans are eager to merge. That is a good sign.

From what I have seen, successful mergers are dependant on how well you both have worked out the leadership modalities (who gets to be leader, co and so on). Also, your war frequency should match.

In the initial period, there would exist a bit of insecurity among both the group members. Here is where the leadership comes in and smooth things out..

I agree with your assessment of recruiting. It seems like the "best" players gravitate towards leadership in healthy clans and therefore, aren't wandering around looking for a landing spot. I say "best" in quotes because that doesn't necessary mean they have the greatest war prowess, but they are the people who try hard, encourage others, are dependable, and realize its just a game. And even if they aren't leaders, they stick with good leaders.

We may not be the best candidate though. To be honest, we are really proud of our rapid rise since our founding in January and it would be very tough to leave our legacy behind. That's pride, I know, which isn't a virtue. But that is the logical move since we are only level 6 and you are level 8. We also war constantly, but people are free to opt out as long and as often as they like.

At any rate, I'd be interested to learn if you did merge, and how it is going. Perhaps we will look for a sub Level 5 clan that wants the donation upgrade and doesn't have as cherished a history. At any rate, good luck to you.

(P.s. part of the reason we are proud of our 80% win percentage is because we are NOT the best attackers. We are okay but work really well as a team to maximize stars.)
